We must recognize that the crisis facing EMS is an opportunity for a cultural revolution—a chance to create a visionary system truly commensurate with American ideals: https://ow.ly/4jYW50XNeRs

This is a battle for proper recognition and support: for providers to be valued as the vital healthcare professionals they are, and for communities to fund these integral services that are fundamental to their wellbeing and people who rely on them when they are suffering from an emergency.

The founding principle of the United States was the belief that people, united by a shared vision, can overturn an unjust system and build a better one. America was powered by the involvement of communities large and small.

Similarly, if EMS wants to be successful in creating a sustainable future, it is critical they do it hand-in-hand with the stakeholders in the communities they serve. Whatever the future of Mobile Medicine/EMS looks like, the communities we serve have to find value in it.
