Seeing care in action brings new appreciation for the teamwork behind every patient experience.

Recently, CEO Jason Wren joined Trish and Dr. Khoo in the cardiac catheterization lab, often called the cath lab, at Medical City Decatur to learn more about the teamwork behind heart care.

In the cath lab, doctors, nurses and care team members use specialized tools and technology to help diagnose and treat certain heart conditions. Every role matters, from preparing the room and supporting patients to assisting during procedures and helping the team stay focused on safe, patient-centered care.

Thank you, Trish, Dr. Khoo and our cath lab colleagues for the meaningful work you do each day to care for our community.
