Congratulations to Dr John Beaulieu of Biosonics on winning the International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA) Visionary award. Well deserved! I follow a lot of your work and use many of your protocols. I have learned so much from you. Watching your presentation right now. Fascinating. Grateful.

You are allowed to be excited again. To make plans without immediately imagining what could go wrong. To believe someone can love you without eventually hurting you. To want more money, more freedom, more adventure, deeper friendships, a beautiful home, work that fulfills you, and ordinary days that feel good to wake up to. You do not have to make your desires smaller simply because life once taught you how much it could take away.

The most beautiful thing about reaching the other side of a difficult chapter is realizing how much of your story still has not happened. Some of the people you will love most are still strangers. Some of your favorite memories are ordinary days you have not lived yet. You have not taken every trip, received every opportunity, laughed every laugh, or experienced every version of happiness available to you. The last six years changed you. Let the years ahead show you how beautiful change can be, too.

What does wellness actually look like?

Maybe it’s not always green smoothies, workouts, meditation, and having everything figured out.

Maybe wellness looks like saying no without explaining yourself.

Eating when you’re hungry.

Resting before you’re completely exhausted.

Going outside and feeling the sun on your face.

Calling someone when you need connection.

Laughing until your stomach hurts.

Changing your mind.

Taking the pressure off.

Doing something simply because it brings you joy.

Or giving yourself permission to do absolutely nothing for a little while.

Wellness doesn’t have to look perfect to be meaningful.

I wonder… what does wellness look like for YOU today?

From Love is Love Farm:

Join us Saturday Sept 12th! Take a ride to the country and hang at the farm.
Come for the plants and make a little time to shop local while you’re here!

We’re bringing together a wonderful group of local growers, makers and artisans for Saturday’s Fall Plant Sale & Family Day on the Farm.

Shop herbs and botanicals, pottery, garden goods, body care and more from Stellar Roots Herb Farm, Sublime Holistic Wellness, Hearthfire Farm & Nursery, Oakleaf Botanicals, Dogwood Hollow Pottery, Gardenhead Planters, Cait’s Creations and Turnrow Bath, Body & Home.

Buying local is about more than what you take home, it’s about supporting the people in our community who grow things, make things and build small businesses with their own two hands. We love getting to share the farm with them.

Come see what everybody’s been making!
