Okay, Facebook fam! Give it up for one of my favorite gospel groups, besides Fred Hammond—the Clark Sisters, composed by the one and only David E. Robinson, for all my instrumentalists! 🎶❤️sitting up here trying to play by ear and sheet music 😂🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

I’ll never forget how David E. Robinson broke racial barriers and opened doors for us to perform in places I never imagined we would be 30 years ago.

I remember my friend Kim and I showing up in our long black dresses, white shirts, red ties, and cummerbunds, riding in my raggedy ’76 Nova. 😂 That car would backfire at the MOST inopportune times—especially when we were pulling up to a concert! And after we got out, we smelled like straight exhaust fumes. LOL!

But I didn’t care! As long as I could play in the concert, I was HAPPY! 😂🎶

Those were the days , and I’m grateful for the memories
