Airway management during deep IV sedation can be challenging when caring for patients with obesity, obstructive sleep apnea, difficult airway anatomy, chronic mouth breathing, or increasing propofol requirements. If a patient triggers you to reach for an oropharyngeal airway (OPA) or nasopharyngeal airway (NPA), that is where the AERIS Airway® belongs. A purpose-built, advanced sedation-airway platform, AERIS integrates with OPA and NPA adjuncts you already use, providing enhanced oxygen delivery and reliable, real-time capnography through a standardized, FDA-cleared platform. Discover how this innovative platform reduces the risk of hypoxemia and enhances patient safety in higher-risk patients ://maginc.us/nww

Our AERIS Airway® just made headlines in Anesthesiology News — the most widely read anesthesiology publication in the U.S. — with a clinical study write-up and our latest ad, both in this month's issue.

The article, "Study Finds New Device for Procedural Sedation Delivers Superior Oxygen Concentrations," covers new research (published in "A&A Practice," 2026;20:e02251) showing that the AERIS Airway delivered significantly higher oxygen concentrations to the supraglottic s**ce compared with a divided nasal cannula or an oxygen face mask. As study author Dr. Rene Miguel Gonzalez put it: "This new oxygen delivery and capnography monitoring system . . . could prove to be a valuable new clinical tool toward the goal of further reducing the incidence and severity of hypoxia during moderate and deep procedural sedation."

Hypoxia during procedural sedation is a serious and often unpredictable risk — even in healthy patients. We built AERIS Airway to give anesthesia providers a better way to deliver oxygen directly to the supraglottic s**ce and monitor capnography, all while working seamlessly with the oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal airways they already use.

The result is confidence. Confidence that the airway is patent. Confidence that oxygen is reaching where it matters most. Confidence that ventilatory compromise is caught before it becomes a crisis.

🚀 Exciting news! We've partnered with Anesthesia Service, Inc.(ASI), naming them the exclusive distributor of the AERIS Airway® across Oklahoma and Texas.

ASI came highly recommended by CRNAs who use the AERIS Airway and who had previously worked with ASI on a device they co-invented.

From our first conversation, the ASI team immediately understood the power of AERIS®: a purpose-built device that turns a standard Guedel OPA or NPA into an advanced oxygenation and capnography system — with no workflow changes, minimal added cost, and a significant improvement in procedural safety.

"ASI has spent nearly 70 years introducing high-impact anesthesia and respiratory technologies to critical care clinicians across the Southcentral U.S., and their reputation for hands-on training and bedside support makes them a strong partner to accelerate adoption of the AERIS Airway." — Paul Fehrenbacher, CEO, Airway Innovations, Inc.

"Our goal has always been to bring our customers products that become the standard of care, and the AERIS Airway fits that mission perfectly. It's exactly the kind of solution our customers are looking for — a simple, single-use device that improves oxygenation and CO₂ monitoring without asking providers to change how they work." — David Walker, Owner, Anesthesia Service, Inc.

Grateful for partners like ASI helping us bring safer airway management to more clinicians and patients. 🙌

What an incredible time at the Great Lakes Anesthesiology Meeting in Chicago yesterday and today.

The keynote from Dr. Jerome Adams, anesthesiologist and the 20th U.S. Surgeon General, was the most inspiring talk of the conferences we’ve attended thus far. Hearing a physician who’s led our nation’s public health response speak candidly about clinical leadership, resilience, and the responsibility we carry as clinicians and innovators in medicine set the perfect tone for the weekend.

It carried straight through to our booth. The response to our AERIS Airway® from the anesthesiologists in attendance was nothing short of energizing — clinician after clinician stopped by to see the device up close, ask sharp questions about the oxygen delivery and CO2 monitoring ports on AERIS Airway®, and share how much the field has needed an FDA-approved upgrade to the OPA and NPA.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tested the device, and shared feedback — and to the organizers of this year’s meeting for putting together such a thoughtful, high-caliber gathering of anesthesiology leaders.

🎙️ New episode alert — watch our clinical advisor Dr. Rene Gonzalez, the first anesthesiologist guest ever on Beyond The Mask (the #1 podcast for ), sit down with co-hosts Sharon Pearce, DNP, CRNA, FAANA, FAAN (former President of the AANA / American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology) and Jeremy Stanley.

The entertaining and educational conversation covers our AERIS Airway® and the study Dr. Gonzalez designed, published last month in Anesthesia & Analgesia Practice — and why all anesthesia providers who administer deep sedation should know about AERIS®.

Yesterday, we had the honor of presenting the AERIS Airway® to the judges at Rm8 iNnoV8, part of AANA / American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, and were selected as the second place finisher in their competition at . It was a privilege to share our work alongside such a talented group of innovators.

Congratulations to the other four finalists Anesthesia Connect, Clyvara, Mudflap, and Nelo. A special shoutout to Brett Garcia for his impressive concept, Mudflap, an improved wound care bandage. Brett is heading into his CRNA residency as of today at TCU Harris College School of Nurse Anesthesia, and we couldn’t be more excited to see where his talent and drive take him. Wishing him the best of success.

We look forward to hopefully working with Rm8 iNnOv8 to advance the practice of airway management during deep sedation.

Thank you to the Rm8 iNnOv8 organizers and judges for creating a platform that champions bold new ideas in CRNA-led innovation.
