Welcome to my lymphedema/lipedema world… 💜
You don’t have to have lymphedema or lipedema to truly appreciate this machine. But if you do live with either of those—or honestly almost anything involving inflammation, sluggishness, stiffness, recovery, circulation, aging, or nervous system overwhelm—this may quickly become one of your favorite wellness tools. For me, this falls into the category of foundational health.
One of the very first things I do every morning is spend 10 minutes on my vibration plate… supervised by my personal trainer, of course 🥰
And truly? The benefits are incredible.
What I love most is that this can be adapted for almost anyone. If standing feels unsteady, you can place a walker in front for support, hold onto a stable bar, or even sit in a straight-backed chair or locked wheelchair with your feet resting on the plate. I actually installed a handicap support bar directly in front of mine in my therapy room—not because I always need it, but because safety matters.
And fun fact… my little Charlotte absolutely loves it too 😂 She hangs onto the bar and thinks it’s the best thing ever. Honestly, kids usually love these machines. They’re one of those rare wellness tools that can support the whole family.
I believe in them so much that I’ve had one in my clinic, one at home, and I’ve gifted them to my mom and my son for their homes too. It’s that important to me.
So what exactly does a vibration plate do?
✨ Enhanced Muscle Activation
The gentle vibration challenges stability, which encourages the body to recruit more muscle fibers. When paired with movements like squats, stretches, or light exercises, it can help support strength, mobility, and muscle engagement over time.
✨ Supports Circulation & Lymphatic Flow
The vibration may help encourage healthy blood flow and lymphatic movement, which many people say leaves them feeling less stiff, less sluggish, and more energized afterward.
✨ Bone & Joint Support
Some research suggests whole-body vibration may provide mechanical stimulation that supports bone health and overall joint function as we age.
✨ Balance & Coordination
Because the body is constantly making micro-adjustments on the plate, it helps engage the neuromuscular system and can support stability, coordination, and body awareness.
Personally, I always feel better after using it. More awake. More grounded. More “online” in my body. It’s one of my favorite ways to gently wake up my nervous system and start the day intentionally.
And the best part? It only takes about 10 minutes.
You can keep it simple by just standing on it… or safely increase the challenge by adding stretches, light hand weights, gentle exercises, or mobility work.
As always:
💧 Hydrate well
⚡ Mineralize well
🧠 Support your nervous system
🌿 Start your day grounded and intentional

PS- sorry I didn’t realize having my vacuum going would make so much noise in the background lol that is not the rebounder making all that noise. It hardly makes any noise.
