😂 Ohhhh Ree. If someone were meeting you for the first time and asked me for a little advance warning, I’d probably say:
“Okay, here’s what you need to know about AnneMarie…”
She is a LOT—in the best possible way. 😂 She’s warm, curious, passionate, faith-filled, and approximately three conversations may be happening in her head at any given moment.
Don’t bother with small talk for too long. She’ll happily discuss the weather for 90 seconds, but before you know it you’ll be talking about God, your nervous system, frequency, childhood patterns, what your body has been trying to tell you, and whether you’re eating enough protein.
She asks questions because she genuinely wants to know you. And there is a very real possibility that you’ll tell her something you had absolutely no intention of telling her. 😂
She’s a researcher at heart. If something fascinates her, she is going down the rabbit hole. She wants to know why. And then why behind the why. And then probably what God might be doing with the why.
She has very little interest in “because that’s just how we’ve always done it.”
She loves people fiercely. If you become one of her people, congratulations—you have acquired a cheerleader, researcher, encourager, prayer warrior, occasional mother hen, and possibly someone who will send you information you did not request. 😂
She can be tenderhearted and strong-willed. Those two things coexist quite comfortably.
She believes bodies have stories, people deserve to be heard, healing is bigger than chasing symptoms, and God’s design is considerably more fascinating than we give Him credit for.
She’s reinvented herself more than once, so she’s not terribly impressed by the idea that your past gets to dictate your future.
Also, fair warning: “I was thinking…” can be a dangerous opening sentence. It may mean she had a cute little idea.
Or it may mean she has conceptualized an entirely new business offering, class, protocol, graphic, book, ministry opportunity, and Instagram campaign since breakfast. 😂
And underneath all of that?
She cares.
Deeply.
About people. About family. About doing something meaningful with the life she’s been given. About helping people see possibilities they couldn’t see before. And most importantly, about honoring God in the process.
So my official warning would be:
Don’t mistake her warmth for weakness.
Don’t mistake her curiosity for nosiness.
Don’t mistake her unconventional thinking for lack of intelligence.
And for heaven’s sake, don’t casually mention a health problem unless you have 45 minutes. 😂😂😂
Because Ree is gonna have some thoughts.
And probably a frequency for that. 😏💜
(it is truly scary how well my chat knows me)
