🌿 TIPSY TUESDAY

What My Massage Clients Teach Me

I really truly enjoy every conversation I have with clients (even If they snore between topics!) 😂

And the one thing almost every client says…

“I didn’t realize how tight I was.”

And honestly?

I think that applies to more than muscles.

Sometimes we’re carrying:

😫 Stress.
😬 Worry.
😖 Pressure.
🏁 Expectations.

For so long…

That it starts feeling normal.

Until one day something helps us slow down.

A stretch.
A walk.
A massage.
A workout.
A quiet moment.

And suddenly we realize:

“Oh.”

“I’ve been carrying a lot.”

👉 So here’s your Tipsy Tuesday reminder:

Check in with yourself today.

Not your schedule.

Not your inbox.

Not your to-do list.

YOU.

How are you actually doing?

🌿 Mindful Saturday 🌿

Did you know your brain is always looking for evidence to support whatever you’re focusing on?
(Remember the RAS system we talked about this week?)

If you spend all day looking for stress…
you’ll find it. 🔎

If you spend all day looking for problems…
you’ll find those too. 🔍

But if you intentionally focus on gratitude, progress, and the good things in your life…

Your brain starts noticing more of those.

- I’ve been doing my daily gratitudes, meditations, and even talking to myself In the mirror -

🧠 But it’s not just positive thinking.
It’s how your brain’s filtering system works.

That’s one reason meditation can be so powerful.

Even 5 minutes of slowing down, breathing deeply, and sitting quietly can help calm the nervous system and break the constant cycle of stress and overwhelm.

There are a lot of guided meditation videos on the YouTube - If you need suggestions let me know! I’ve got over 100 saved 🤣😂

This weekend, give yourself permission to:

✨ Slow down
✨ Put the phone away
✨ Take a few deep breaths
✨ Sit outside
✨ Notice what’s going right

Sometimes self-care isn’t doing more.

Sometimes it’s doing less.

💚 What’s one thing helping you recharge this weekend?

05/29/2026

🤣 Funny Friday 🤣

Yes.
It’s the worst part of any massage session…

When I say ‘take your time getting up’ and you’re expected to be able to move and be an adult and go out into the real world again 😂🤣

🌿 Therapy Thursday 🌿

Mental Health Awareness Month may be coming to an end, but taking care of your nervous system should be a Year-Round priority

Massage is a powerful tool for helping your body shift out of “survival mode” and into a state of rest, recovery, and relaxation.

When your nervous system finally feels safe enough to relax, you may notice:
✨ less tension
✨ deeper breathing
✨ better sleep
✨ improved mood
✨ a calmer mind

If your stress levels have been running the show lately, here are a few sessions designed specifically to help you unwind: year-round priority.

🌿 Hydration Body Wrap

90 minutes of pure relaxation.

Enjoy a full-body massage with extra attention to the neck, shoulders, face, and scalp, plus a therapeutic foot scrub and foot massage—all while relaxing on our infrared heated table.

This slower-paced session is designed to help quiet a busy mind, ease tension, and encourage deep relaxation.

🌿 Sinus, Headache & Migraine Relief Session

If stress tends to settle in your face, jaw, neck, and head, this one is for you.

Using hot and cold therapies, lymphatic massage techniques, and our HealthyLine infrared heated mat, this session focuses on reducing tension, encouraging lymphatic flow, and relieving pressure throughout the head, face, and neck.

Many clients leave feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply relaxed.

🌿 Detox Massage Session

This session combines gentle massage with time wrapped comfortably in our infrared heated mat, creating a relaxing sauna-like experience.

Designed to promote relaxation and support recovery, it’s the perfect opportunity to disconnect from the outside world and give your nervous system the reset it deserves.

💚 Sometimes self-care isn’t a luxury.

Sometimes it’s the thing that helps you show up as a better parent, spouse, friend, employee, or simply a happier version of yourself.

If you’ve been carrying the weight of stress, anxiety, or mental exhaustion lately, maybe it’s time to schedule an hour or two where you don’t have to answer emails, solve problems, or be “on” for anyone else.

😌 Just relax.

Your nervous system will thank you.

🌿 Wellness Wednesday 🌿

Did you know wellness is about WAY more than just your physical health?

A lot of people think being “healthy” means eating salad, going to the gym, and drinking water.

And yes… those things matter.

But true wellness includes your:

💚 Mental health
💚 Physical health
💚 Emotional health
💚 Spiritual health
💚 Energy and mindset

Because you can be physically fit and still be mentally exhausted.

You can eat all the right foods and still be emotionally overwhelmed.

You can exercise every day and still feel disconnected from yourself.

👉🏻 We are talking about wellness for the Whole Person - not just one aspect of being a well human.

Sometimes WHOLE PERSON WELLNESS looks like:

📵 Unfollowing social media accounts that leave you feeling stressed, angry, or not good enough.

📵 Turning your phone off at night and giving your brain permission to rest.

🙏 Praying, meditating, journaling, or simply sitting quietly with your thoughts.

🎶 Listening to calming music instead of another true crime podcast that convinces you everyone is a serial killer. 😂 (that’s me - hi - It’s not music playing while I get my cardio done!)

🥗 Replacing one less-than-great food choice with a healthier option.

☕ Or maybe using slightly less coffee creamer… (Again, I’m speaking directly to myself on that one. No judgment. 🤣)

The goal isn’t perfection.

🌀 The goal is becoming 1% better than yesterday.

🌀 Small changes add up.

🌀 Small habits create big results.

And sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is simply slow down long enough to ask yourself:

“What do I need today?”

👇 So tell me below:

What’s one small wellness habit that helps you feel like your best self?

Happy Tuesday to You!!

This week being the last of Mental Health Awareness month, I wanted to focus on a few key things to do daily that will change your mental health for the better - every single day.

🧠 A few years ago I started changing little things in my morning routine and it’s been mentally life-changing.

But why does a Morning Routine matter so much?

🎧 Pay attention to what you’re feeding your brain first thing in the morning!!!

If the first thing you do every morning is doomscroll social media, watch the news, read negative comments, or absorb everyone else’s problems…

…your brain starts looking for MORE of that all day long.

Your brain has something called the Reticular Activating System (RAS). 🧠

Think of it like a filter.

When you focus on something repeatedly, your brain starts noticing more opportunities, information, and experiences connected to that thing.

Ever buy a new car and suddenly see that same car everywhere? 🚗

That’s your RAS at work.

The cool part?

You can train it.

Here’s More Science ⬇️

Pair the RAS with neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to create new pathways and habits—and you can literally begin changing the way you think over time. 😱

Not overnight.

Not with one motivational video.

But through consistent daily practice.

My morning routine is pretty simple:

✅ Positive and/or Motivational podcast or video

✅ Breathwork outside while enjoying my morning coffee with my pup

✅ Stretching and movement - pilates has been kicking my butt!!

✅ A few moments of gratitude - you can use a journal but I just talk It out loud

Nothing fancy.

Just intentionally giving my brain a better starting point than stress, worry, and social media chaos.

Mental health isn’t just about managing the hard days.

It’s also about building habits that help your mind become stronger on the good days too.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Memorial Day isn’t just about the BBQs, cookouts, and a day off work.

It’s about remembering the men and women who never got to come home.

The ones who paid the ultimate price so the rest of us could enjoy simple things like family gatherings, backyard BBQ sammiches, and the freedoms we often take for granted.

About a year ago, I took a trip to Gettysburg.

I hadn’t been there since a high school field trip (and we’re definitely not doing the math on how long ago that was 😂).

Walking those grounds as an adult hit differently.

Having family members who served in the military, I grew up hearing some of the stories they were willing to share.

But I also know not everyone in my family made it home to tell their stories.

Standing there, I found myself tearing up.

Not because I was sad.

Because I was grateful.

Grateful for the sacrifices made by generations before us.

Grateful for the brave men and women who answered the call to serve.

Grateful for the freedom to spend time with family, build a life I love, speak my mind, and enjoy the little moments that make life special.

Today, as we enjoy our time with friends and family, let’s take a moment to remember those who gave everything for this country.

Because freedom isn’t free.

And neither are the memories of those who made it possible.

❤️🤍💙

🌸 Sunday Slow Down 🌸

Tomorrow we honor Memorial Day.

A day of remembrance.
A day of gratitude.
And for many of us, a day spent with family and friends.

But before the cookouts, the gatherings, and the busy week ahead…

Take a moment today to slow down.

Take a deep breath.

Step outside.

Feel the sunshine.

Listen to the birds.

Maybe even stop and smell the flowers. 🌸

We’re so used to rushing through life that we forget happiness isn’t always found in the next achievement, the next paycheck, or the next item on the to-do list.

Sometimes happiness is found in the simple moments:

💚 A quiet morning coffee
💚 A walk with your dog
💚 A cat investigating every flower in the neighborhood
💚 A conversation with someone you love
💚 A few minutes of peace with no notifications demanding your attention

Your nervous system needs those moments.

Your mind needs those moments.

And honestly… your happiness depends on them more than you may realize.

So today, give yourself permission to slow down.

The chores will still be there tomorrow.

The emails can wait.

Take a breath.
Enjoy the people around you.
Create a memory.

And don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers. 🌸

Happy Sunday, friends. 💚
