Hello everyone, this is post from family. We are attempting to raise funds for Yolanda. We have tried out best to reach out to friends and family but because Yolanda has such a large heart her list is too long to call everyone. So, we have decided to reach out on her social platforms.
She has been & continues to be a devoted single mother to her wonderful child Eleanor. Yolanda also has devoted her life’s working into caring for the health and lives of countless patients with her extensive work as an Acupuncturist. She is the kind of person who always puts others first. But right now, she needs our help.
Just abruptly, she was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. This news has turned our world upside down. As a single parent, she does everything on her own. She works hard to provide a safe and happy home. Now, she faces the hardest fight of her life: chemotherapy and ongoing medical treatments, heavy medication regiments, and more.
The Challenge ahead Fighting Breast Cancer takes an incredible physical and emotional toll. It also brings a massively heavy financial burden. During chemotherapy, Yolanda will need to miss work to rest and recover. Medical bills are piling up fast. At the same time, she still has to pay for rent, utilities, groceries, and the everyday costs of raising her child, countless medication changes due to changes in side effects from chemo, & the need for ambulatory medical devices.
She is still so young, so strong, and she is ready to fight. But she cannot do this alone! We want Yolanda to focus all of her energy on healing and being a mom, not on stressing about money. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards: Medical bills and treatment costs, Daily living expenses (rent, food, and utilities) Childcare and household support while she recovers at home.
