Inside RECOVER Intensive Outpatient Program, somatic approaches are part of the structured, trauma-focused group curriculum, helping participants notice how stress and trauma show up in the body and build greater awareness, regulation, and connection.

This is one part of the group experience, and RECOVER also includes individual counseling each week for deeper processing and more personalized care.

We’ll be sharing more about the approaches that shape RECOVER in the coming weeks.

What a wonderful turnout at our August Denton Neighbors Network gathering! 🎉

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to connect, learn, and support our growing community!

A very special thank-you to Rebecca Hopping, Courtney Shields, and Hannah Segalini from TMS Clinical Solutions for sponsoring this month’s event and giving us a deeper look into TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and what treatment looks like at their practice.

TMS is a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment that uses magnetic stimulation to target specific areas of the brain and may help improve symptoms of depression, particularly for individuals who have not found sufficient relief from medication. TMS Clinical Solutions is committed to expanding access to TMS treatment and providing compassionate care to individuals in need.

TMS may be an option for individuals experiencing Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), anxious depression, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Inside RECOVER, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is one of the approaches that helps shape our structured, trauma-focused group curriculum.

ACT helps participants make space for difficult thoughts, emotions, and trauma responses while staying connected to what matters most. The goal is not to eliminate hard experiences, but to build flexibility and practice new ways of responding to them.
