There is a difference between looking refreshed and looking like you had something done.

💉 Will I bruise with Botox or filler?

The honest answer is yes. Bruising is possible with any injectable treatment.

🩸 Your face contains an extensive network of arteries, veins, and tiny capillaries. Even with careful technique and a detailed knowledge of facial anatomy, a needle might contact a small vessel.

💉 Botox usually causes less bruising because your provider uses a very small needle and injects small amounts of product.

💋 Filler carries a higher risk of bruising because treatment often requires more needle passes. Swelling and tenderness are also common, especially after lip filler.

Most bruising stays mild and fades within several days. 💗

Help reduce your risk:

🍷 Avoid alcohol before treatment
💊 Discuss aspirin, ibuprofen, supplements, and blood thinners with your medical provider
🩺 Never stop prescribed medication without approval
📅 Schedule treatment at least two weeks before an important event
