We're hearing and seeing this all over this year... people want to stop giving their money to billionaires and to start supporting local companies. But are YOU shopping local?

Sometimes shopping local means you need more patience, or you have to go slightly out of your way, or you can only shop during certain hours. We get it! Want to make a delicious sustainable chili now that we're headed into the cold months? We've got you! This recipe uses grass-fed, regeneratively raised, local ground beef from Grama Grass, which is as sustainable as beef can get! Want to make it vegan for peak sustainability? Double the beans and sub veggie broth 😉

This is super easy to throw together and this batch easily makes 6+ servings. Pro-tip: Add extra *cooled* soup to the broth jar, leaving about an inch of room at the top, and freeze for later!

You'll need:
Garlic
Onions
Sweet Potato
Tomatoes (canned or fresh)
Beans (canned or rehydrated dried beans)
Spices (salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, cumin, any others you love)
Local Ground Beef
Local Beef Broth
Tortilla Chips

Have you ever wondered how N**e Foods came to be? Rachel, our co-founder and CEO, shares the story! What was supposed to be a bulk food store with intentional sourcing became a one-of-a-kind EASY way to shop plastic-free for your groceries.

COVID forced us to pivot and deliver bulk groceries (via bikes!) in returnable glass jars. That challenge spurred a pivot to our jar return business model. And this is why sometimes challenges are a blessing in disguise :)
