Don’t worry… every confession in this video is completely FAKE. We have not done (and will not do) any of these things 😂 …Except for Richard. He really does spend his lunch break searching campus for the best vending machine cookie instead of eating his lunch. 🍪🤣

Four Health Center at Auraria staff members sit together in an office for a lighthearted “We Listen and We Don’t Judge” boss prank video. Throughout the video, each person shares obviously fake “confessions” while the group laughs and reacts. On screen text reads, “We listen and we don’t judge (boss prank).” The video ends with a disclaimer clarifying that all of the confessions are fake, except for Richard’s real habit of searching for the best vending machine cookie instead of eating lunch.

Ever wonder what healthcare providers do when they’re off the clock?
Spend a Saturday morning with one of our providers as he shares a glimpse into his life outside of work. From cheering on his wife’s donkey races to reminding us that yes... doctors are people too (and yes, they p**p too 💩😂).
It’s a fun reminder that our providers have hobbies, families, and weekends just like everyone else!

Okay health insurance should not be this painful.

Health insurance is a safety net (for medical needs) that shares the cost of your medical care with you! 👏🏼👏🏼

You pay a set monthly fee (a premium) to maintain coverage. In return, your health insurance pays for your medical services, protecting you from having to pay for huge bills associated with your medical services. So you get to work as a team with your health insurance in keeping YOU healthy! Let’s break down some some common health insurance terms 📚🧐

✅ Premium
The amount you pay for your health insurance every month.

Example: Coco pays $150/ month as her premium. This ensures that when she does have medical needs, she can get them taken care of right away.

✅ Deductible
A medical deductible is the amount of money you need to begin paying towards for certain healthcare services before your health insurance begins paying your medical bill. A deductible starts over every year.

Example: Coco hates starting a new plan year with her health insurance because her deductible renews. So, this means she has to start over on paying the full cost of medical care until her deductible is paid in order for her health insurance to start paying certain medical services.

✅ Co-pay
A fixed amount you pay for medical services at the time of service.

Example: Every time Coco goes in for her yearly dermatology appointment she has to pay a pre-determined dollar amount for her service (example a $50 co-pay). Her co-pay will go towards the cost of the service, but the rest is covered by insurance.

✅ Coinsurance
A shared percentage amount with your health insurance that you are responsible for paying after you have met your deductible.

Example: Coco finally reached her deductible for the year. Now that she has met that number, her health insurance will share a percentage of the costs of her medical services, up to 80% for most plans.
