🩵 A Small Need Can Make a Big Difference

If you read our weekly Connect4, you know we always share our greatest Connectable needs at the bottom. This week, we're making a more direct ask from our incredible community.

Right now, we are serving several families with little ones of similar ages, and our shelves are running very low on:

🧷 Size 3 diapers
🧷 Size 4 diapers
🧷 Size 5 diapers
🧷 Size 6 diapers

We are also always grateful for donations of:
🫧 Baby soap
🛒 Walmart gift cards

If you'd like to help, you can:
✔️ Pick up a few items during your next shopping trip and drop them off at the clinic.
✔️ Use our Connectables link (https://www.walmart.com/lists/wishlist/6c8abd45-82d0-4483-a27b-7e081e5c9c54r) to have items shipped directly to us.

Your generosity turns moments of uncertainty into moments of hope. Thank you for helping us care for the families in our community—one diaper, one gift card, one act of kindness at a time. 💙

🎓✨ Celebrating Rainey! ✨🎓

There has been a lot of excitement around the end of the school year, and now that graduation season has arrived, we're thrilled to spend even more time with one of our incredible team members, Lorraine "Rainey" Zettel!

Rainey is beginning her second summer at Connect Medical Clinic, where she serves as our Compliance Support Assistant. Throughout the school year and summer months, she has been a vital part of our team, helping support important projects—including preparations for our recent AAAHC accreditation.

We were honored to celebrate this milestone with a surprise graduation party and couldn't be more proud of all she has accomplished.

💬 "I'm proud to have completed my education at Dickinson High School and to be expanding my work as a Compliance Support Assistant at Connect. This fall I'll begin the Social Work program at UND." — Lorraine Zettel

Please join us in congratulating Rainey on her graduation and wishing her the very best as she begins this exciting new chapter. We can't wait to see all the wonderful things ahead for her!

🎉 Congratulations, Rainey! 🎉

🌸 Understanding Menstrual Health: More Than a Monthly Cycle 🌸

Menstrual Health Awareness Month is a reminder that your cycle is more than just a period—it's an important window into your overall health.

Your menstrual cycle can provide valuable insight into:
✨ Hormonal balance
✨ Metabolic health
✨ Reproductive wellness
✨ Whole-body function

Changes in cycle patterns, symptoms, or timing can sometimes signal underlying health concerns and offer important clues about what's happening inside the body.

At Connect, we believe that understanding your cycle is an important part of understanding your health. Through education and fertility awareness, women can gain valuable knowledge about their bodies and make more informed healthcare decisions.

St. Faustina was a nun from Poland who received visions of Jesus dressed in white, with rays of red and pale light emanating from his heart. The image she saw was made into a painting with the words "Jesus, I trust in You" inscribed below. This image of Jesus is now widely known as the Divine Mercy.🙏✍️

What an appropriate and encouraging reminder to all who walk by this space and to all who work inside this room, that the Divine Physician ✝ is caring for every detail, every diagnosis, every task, and every worry.

🤲Thank you so much to the generous donors who made sure that this space, the staff within it, the care that flows from it, and the patients who walk by it were blessed by His Mercy!🤗🙌

Do you remember the last time you were thirsty? The Connect Care Team has been challenging one another to drink more water, and the more consistently I hydrate, the more I notice the effects of dehydration: chapped lips, low energy, a desire to snack, and so on.

I was thinking about the signs of thirst as we received the much-needed rain this week. From the prayers of farmers and the news of fires across the state, to the trees and vegetation trying to bud, and even the wilting hydrangea in my own backyard, there were many signs of the desire for moisture.

This made me realize that I too often ignore the signs my body is sending of what it truly needs. Less screen time, more movement, less empty carbs, more sunshine. This week, I challenge you to join me in noticing what your body is communicating and to make it a priority to take one step toward connecting with your health.

Maybe that is carrying around a water bottle. Maybe it is editing your grocery list. Maybe it is buying a pair of running shoes. Or maybe it is calling 701-483-9353 to book an appointment with the Connect Care Team. Whatever it is, I hope that by the end of the week, you are blooming just like the hydrangea on my porch.

Praying for your own rain,

Jillian Kubik, COO

✨ TAKING THE CONSULT ROOM BY STORM ✨

Every journey at Connect begins with a conversation. 💬

Our new Care Coordinator, Lindsay Becker, has officially begun seeing patients independently for Consultations and ConnectED appointments—bringing compassion, intentionality, and support to every conversation.

Each patient at Connect Medical Clinic receives a free one-hour consultation during which we take time to understand their physical, practical, mental, and spiritual needs. These conversations create the foundation for individualized care and are an important first step in The Patient Experience at Connect.

Join us in welcoming and celebrating Lindsay as she continues helping patients feel supported from the very beginning.

💙NATIONAL TEEN PREGNANCY PREVENTION MONTH💙

May is National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month. Prevention at Connect looks different than what is typically available to parents and educators. We believe in every person's right to informed consent. This means we give patients and students, when we educate in schools, all the information they need to make an informed decision based on their own values and beliefs. This information typically includes: risk avoidance, risk reduction, STI's, healthy relationships, and holistic health.

Our team has partnered with private, Catholic, public, and homeschool communities and is equipped to support curriculum, special events, classroom sessions, and more. 🎉🤗👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓
