Happy Labor Day! Today, we celebrate the hard work, dedication and contributions of workers who help strengthen our communities every day. Whether you're spending the day with family and friends or taking a well-deserved break, we wish you a safe and relaxing holiday. Our office is closed today (September 7).

This , ASGE is celebrating the women shaping the future of gastroenterology—and creating more ways for women across the GI community to connect, learn and share their experiences.

Explore our updated Women in GI page for resources, opportunities and stories designed to support women throughout their careers. And throughout September, follow our Women in Medicine Month video series, featuring women in GI sharing the lessons, perspectives and advice that have shaped their journeys.

We’re kicking off the series with Leila Kia, MD, who reflects on the importance of surrounding yourself with people who build your confidence, support your growth and help you recognize what’s possible—especially during the first five years after training.
