A special afternoon spent introducing local moms to Instant Orthopedic Care. 💙

Moms are often the first to decide where their families turn when an injury happens. At IOC, we want them to know there’s a better option for fractures, sprains, sports injuries, and other orthopedic needs—same-day specialized care without the stress or expense of an emergency room visit.

We also introduced our IOC Sideline Injury Kits, created to help parents and teams feel more prepared when injuries happen at practices and games.

We recently had the opportunity to introduce Instant Orthopedic Care to fellow Chamber members and share more about what we’re building here in the South Valley.

Our goal is simple: to be a trusted orthopedic resource for our community. Whether it’s a sports injury, fracture, sprain, or another unexpected orthopedic need, we want families, schools, employers, and community organizations to know there’s a convenient option for specialized orthopedic care when they need it.

Is it time to rethink R.I.C.E.?

For years, we’ve all heard to Rest, Ice, Compress, and Elevate after an injury. While those steps can still have a place, current sports medicine research supports a more complete approach to recovery: P.E.A.C.E. & L.O.V.E.

🛡️ P.E.A.C.E. (First 48–72 Hours)
• Protect
• Elevate
• Avoid anti-inflammatory medications early
• Compress
• Educate yourself about the injury

💚 L.O.V.E. (As Recovery Begins)
• Load the injured area gradually
• Optimism matters
• Vascularization with gentle movement
• Exercise to restore strength and function

The goal isn’t just to reduce pain—it’s to help your body heal well and get you back to the activities you love.
