The Wildcats are headed to Blaine, Minnesota for the 2026 Hendrickson Foundation National Hockey Festival! 🏒🔥

NEP Sled Hockey will compete in the Adult A Division this Thursday through Sunday in the Wildcat’s final tournament of the season. Let’s finish strong! 💪🐾

Mindfulness & beach business 🌊🪣

A TREK School-Based Recreational Therapy group spent some time at Jenness Beach exploring tide pools, connecting with each other, and letting curiosity lead the way. With just a bucket and a whole lot of imagination, students created their own fun—proof that meaningful moments don’t need much more than the right setting and supportive peers.

From peer-initiated play to quiet moments by the water, it was a reminder that recreation, connection, and a little salt air can go a long way. 🌞

Red light… green light… with a twist 🔴🟢

One of our NEP TREK School-Based Recreational Therapy groups took on a classic playground game using court sports wheelchairs—and it completely changed the experience. What started as a familiar game quickly became something new, challenging, and a whole lot of fun.

Rolling instead of running gave everyone a different perspective, building skills, awareness, and plenty of laughs along the way. Amazing how a simple shift can open the door to new understanding and connection!
