Meet Liz! 👋✨

Liz’s journey with Legacy started at the very beginning as an academic tutor for her member, Peg. Holding degrees in English and Education—and with young kids at home—she was initially looking for fulfilling, meaningful part-time work.

Fast forward to today, and she’s found that and so much more! Through continuous dedication and internal growth, Liz has taken on various roles within the company, climbing the ladder to become our Director of Strategic Partnerships & Communications and lead our MEA department.

Today, she channels her passion for writing into outreach, advocacy, and company branding.

And as an added bonus? She still proudly supports Peg to this day! 💚

✨ Meet the Team: Ann Marquez, Chief of Staff ✨

Ann plays an important role in keeping Legacy moving forward, overseeing many of our daily operations while also leading and supporting our HR team. 💚

Ann’s connection to Legacy is personal. As a parent and caregiver, she understands the challenges of navigating services firsthand. At Legacy, she found a community that supports her as both a professional and a parent.

Her wish for every person who walks through Legacy’s doors is simple: to know there is a place for them, to feel seen, and to know they are valued as a unique individual.

Outside of Legacy, Ann is a music lover with a special love for classic Broadway. You might even find her singing and dancing around the kitchen to Chicago or Cabaret! 🎶🎭

We’re so proud to have Ann as part of the Legacy team and grateful for everything she brings to our organization and the people we serve. 💚

Led by Director Asia Johnson, this department will focus on strengthening connections, member engagement, and creating meaningful opportunities for our members to stay connected and involved in the Legacy community.

💚Member Experience & Advocacy
Led by Director Elizabeth Hamill, this department will focus on strengthening Legacy’s community partnerships, continue building our brand, and ensure our members’ experiences remain at the center of what we do.

These new departments are part of our continued growth and commitment to creating an even stronger, more connected Legacy community.

✨ Meet the Team: Anthony Perez ✨

We’re excited to introduce Anthony Perez, Legacy’s Co-Founder and CFO! As Legacy’s CFO and Director of Finances & Logistics, Anthony oversees several important areas of Legacy. He also works directly with our members as a Direct Support Professional and Life Skills Coach.

Anthony has spent the past few years supporting members through individualized plans focused on empowering them! He also developed Legacy’s Ride Share system, helping members coordinate transportation when they need it. 🚗

Outside of Legacy, Anthony loves cooking, concerts, axe throwing, fantasy, and getting lost in a good audiobook—but most of all, he loves spending time with his daughters. ❤️

A few fun facts about Anthony: He’s the second of eight siblings and he learned to play the flute, French horn, and trombone (though he says he wasn’t particularly good at any of them 😄)

And for some Legacy couple goals 💕—Anthony is married to Legacy’s CEO and Co-Founder, Mayra Martinez! Together, they’re building Legacy and making a difference every day. ✨
