INTEGRIS Health Arcadia Trails Center for Addiction Recovery currently has space available in several levels of intensive care:
• Residential treatment (24/7 clinical support)
• High Intensive Outpatient (20 hours per week of clinical support)
• Intensive Outpatient (nine hours a week of clinical support)

Our admissions team is available to answer your questions and help determine which level of support may be appropriate for you.

Would you recognize an opioid overdose? Acting quickly could save someone’s life.

Warning signs may include:
• Difficulty waking or an inability to respond
• Slow, shallow or stopped breathing
• Blue or gray lips or fingernails
• Small, pinpoint pupils
• Choking, gurgling or unusual snoring sounds

Remember that an overdose is a medical emergency, and you should call 911 immediately.

During Overdose Awareness Month, we remember those who have died, support their families and challenge our communities to take time to learn the warning signs.

What does outpatient treatment mean?

Residential programs require patients stay at a treatment facility while receiving care. Outpatient treatment allows them to live at home and attend scheduled treatment sessions each week.

The amount of outpatient support will always depend on individual needs and where you are in recovery.

✳️ High-Intensity treatment provides approximately 20 hours of clinical support each week without requiring an overnight stay.
✳️Intensive treatment provides approximately nine hours of clinical support each week.
✳️Low-Intensity provides approximately one to three hours of clinical support each week.

As a patient’s need for support changes, their intensity level of outpatient care will change with them.

What does "detox" really mean?

Detoxification, sometimes referred to as withdrawal management, is the process of safely helping the body adjust after someone stops using drugs or alcohol. Withdrawal symptoms may range from mild to severe depending on the substance, how long it was used and the person’s overall health.

Detox is often an important first step in the process, but it is not the same as addiction treatment and recovery. Long-term recovery involves addressing the behaviors, experiences and underlying challenges connected to the substance use.

At INTEGRIS Health Arcadia Trails Center for Addiction Recovery, withdrawal management is available as needed for patients entering our residential treatment program. If you or a loved one are in need of help, please reach out to our team to begin the process.

We are proud to welcome Teresa Stephenson as our new executive director.

Teresa brings more than 27 years of experience in mental health and substance use services, including residential treatment, family-centered care and clinical program leadership.

Throughout her career, she has focused on strengthening treatment systems, improving quality and accountability, and expanding access to compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals and families impacted by substance use.
