Supplement stack creep is real đ
One day it's a probiotic.
Then a fish oil.
Then a fiber supplement.
Then suddenly your supplement cabinet needs its own budget line item.
Before you buy another bottle, ask yourself:
đ„ Could fermented foods replace my probiotic?
đ Could food cover my vitamin C needs?
đ Could I eat more SMASH fish instead of taking fish oil?
đŸ Could flax, chia, h**p, oat bran, or beans provide the prebiotics I'm looking for?
Don't get me wrong - supplements can be incredibly helpful. But sometimes the cheapest nutrition intervention is sitting in your refrigerator.
Food won't always replace supplements, but it's a good place to start.
