Some legacies are measured in awards, records, and accomplishments. Others are measured in the little lives they touched.

Dolly Parton created a legacy that has reached far beyond music. Through Imagination Library, she has put books into the hands of so many children and created an opportunity to dream, imagine, learn, and fall in love with reading. My daughter is one of them. Every month, a new book arrives in our mailbox just for her, and watching her excitement when she sees that package is something I will always treasure. 📚

As an artist and a mother, I have such a deep appreciation for someone who has used her gifts to create something that will continue touching generations long after she is gone.

What a beautiful reminder that the things we create can become part of someone else's story.

Thank you, Dolly, for leaving behind a legacy filled with imagination, kindness, and the belief that every child deserves a chance to dream. 🫶

Her songs may be part of her legacy, but for so many children, so are the stories she put in their hands.
