September IDD Connect Networking Meeting 🤝💙

Join us TODAY, Tuesday, September 8th, for our monthly Lane County IDD Services Networking Group meeting!

This month, we’re excited to welcome Heather Steele from Boundaries & Beyond for an informative presentation on:

💚 Healthy Relationships & S*x Education for Adults with I/DD

Heather will share more about Boundaries & Beyond’s 15-week class series and how it helps adults with I/DD build skills for safe, healthy, and meaningful relationships.

Topics will include:
🔹 Safety & Independence – Consent, boundaries, abuse prevention & internet safety
🔹 Connection – Dating, relationships & LGBTQIA2S+ allyship
🔹 Community Resources – Parent classes, trauma-informed care & customized trainings
🔹 Medicaid Billing & ISPs – Helpful information for providers and families on accessing these services

💙 Free Parenting Support Opportunity in Eugene!

We’re happy to share this upcoming opportunity from Pearl Buck Center! Beginning in September, they will be offering a FREE Circle of Security Parenting Class designed to give parents a supportive place to learn, connect, ask questions, and grow together.

Classes are available both in person and via Zoom, and free childcare, snacks, and prizes are provided to help make participation easier for families. 🙌
