"Having my family member at the Boulevard thus far (2 weeks) has been a very good thing! I spend a lot of time there — advocating and interacting with the staff — and I believe that is almost always a good and necessary thing to do. We all need to honor and respect each other’s humanity! The people who work there have difficult and important jobs!! I have been impressed with almost every nurse and CNA. I have my favorites, too. It is difficult for my family member to face a day ahead not knowing exactly what therapy she will be having and when! But the nature of this type of facility seems to be fluid! The food at The Boulevard is very, very good! I have found the administrative staff to be helpful as well.

I want to add more praise for the Boulevard since my mom ended up spending and entire month there! We will never forget the attentive and caring way Linder treated my mom. She was so patient with her and yet gently pushed her toward moving forward with her therapy and getting stronger. We are forever in her debt. Julia, Dave Stever, Kikii, Millie, Kanu, Sui Lin, Alberto, Nooch and others whose names I can't quite recall all worked together to give my mom such good care. They worked very hard to get the best for my sweet mom. She left so, so much stronger than when she arrived!"

We are proud to share our Assistant Director of Nursing, Akiiki “Kiki” Latifah Katamala, BSN, RN, has been invited to speak at the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology Conference this October!

Kiki’s career began working with children with special needs, an experience that inspired her passion for nursing and caring for others. Since then, her nursing career has spanned long-term care, skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and acute care hospital settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and leadership to our team.
