Community Uplift Program

Community Uplift Program We are a person-centered agency offering 1915i, 1915c, Community Connect, and Free Through Recovery.

Community Uplift Program was founded on the idea of inclusivity with emphasis on providing support, resources, and assistance in areas of mental health, recovery, housing stability, and more for anyone in the community. We currently offer care coordination and certified peer support services through Community Connect, Free Through Recovery, and 1915i. We also have a free legal kiosk and offer nota

rizing on a sliding fee scale. We believe that no matter who you are, where you come from, what you look like, or how much money you have, it shouldn’t prevent you from having a welcoming place to support you in challenging times. Support should also be provided during the positive times in your life. We believe in a person-centered approach and meet you where you’re at, no matter what phase of your journey you’re in.

Mental health matters because the way we speak to ourselves matters. 💚

The thoughts we carry every day can either tear us down or help us heal. Taking care of your mental health is just as important as caring for your physical health — both deserve attention, compassion, and support.

You are enough, even on the hard days. Give yourself grace, speak kindly to yourself, and remember that healing takes time.

Knowing who to call in a crisis can save lives. 💙

988 and 911 both play important roles in keeping our communities safe and supported. While 911 responds to medical emergencies, fires, crimes in progress, and life-threatening situations, 988 provides support for mental health crises, substance use concerns, su***de prevention, and connections to local resources.

Mental health care is health care — and support is available. You are not alone. 💚

Memorial Day Closure

Community Uplift Program will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Today, we take time to honor and remember the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we reflect, we also extend our gratitude to all who have served and continue to serve. ❤️

We will reopen during our regular business hours the following day. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

It’s okay to not be okay. 💙

Not every day is easy, and that’s okay. We’ve all had moments where we feel tired, overwhelmed, confused, or alone. You don’t always have to be strong.

Give yourself permission to rest, breathe, and take things one day at a time. We don’t have to be perfect — it’s enough to be human and keep trying every day.

Taking care of your mental health doesn’t always require big steps — sometimes it starts with small, intentional moments each day. 💙

Talk to someone you trust, do things that bring you joy, care for your body, and give yourself grace along the way. Your mental health matters, and so do you.

May is Mental Health Month:

Sometimes growth looks like letting go.

Let go of what keeps you up at night, what constantly drains you, what no longer brings peace, and what was never meant for you to carry forever. Not everything is yours to hold onto.

Make room for healing, joy, rest, and new beginnings. You deserve peace, too.

Talking about mental health matters because it helps turn silence into support and isolation into connection.

When we speak openly about mental health, we help break down stigma and create space for honesty, understanding, and healing. It becomes easier for people to recognize when they’re struggling, reach out sooner, and remember they’re not alone in what they’re feeling.

These conversations also strengthen our communities. Schools, workplaces, families, and organizations can respond with more compassion and support when mental health is part of everyday dialogue—not something hidden until it becomes a crisis.

At Community Uplift Program, we see the power of connection every day. One conversation can be the start of someone getting the support they need and realizing there is hope, help, and community ready to walk alongside them.

Let’s keep talking. Let’s keep showing up for each other. 💚

💚 What Is Mental Health? 💚

Mental health is about our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, act, handle stress, relate to others, and make decisions. Just like physical health, it’s something we all have — and it can change over time.

Sometimes, our mental health may need extra care. Here are a few signs it might be struggling:
⚠️ Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or persistently sad
⚠️ Changes in sleep (too much or too little)
⚠️ Loss of interest in things you once enjoyed
⚠️ Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
⚠️ Withdrawing from friends, family, or activities
⚠️ Changes in appetite or energy levels

If you notice these signs, you’re not alone — and support is available. 💙
9-8-8 is a great resource to call or text for support. It's answered locally by FirstLink

At Community Uplift Program, we help connect individuals to resources and support through care coordination and peer services.

Take a moment today to check in with yourself — how are you really feeling?

💙 Believe in Yourself 💙

Life can bring challenges, but within you is strength, resilience, and the ability to keep moving forward — even on the hardest days.

At Community Uplift Program, we believe in the power of growth, support, and reminding one another that we are capable of more than we sometimes realize.

Keep going. You’ve got this.

💐Happy Mother’s Day!💐

Today, we celebrate and appreciate all those who fill the “mother” role — whether by birth, choice, family, or support. Your care, strength, guidance, and love make a lasting impact in the lives of so many.

We are especially thankful for the incredible mothers on the Community Uplift Program team. Your dedication at work and at home does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for all that you do every single day.

Wishing you a day filled with appreciation, love, and well-deserved recognition!
