DSP Week is in full effect! Our DSP's and individuals teamed up with Sheriff Johnathan Morgan: Cumberland County Sheriff's Office for a little friendly competition in relay races. 📣Calling all NC Youth, Ages 5 to 26, with Disabilities! We want to know your talent.

ECAC's Youth Advisory Team members are seeking entries for the next issue of YEP - Young Exceptional Perspectives. YEP's NCGT column was created to put a spotlight on the many talents and abilities of NC Youth & Young Adults with Disabilities ages 5 to 26. The format of submissions can be a poem, artwork, blog, video, song, essay, article, presentation, an "About me" article", you name it.

ECAC's Youth Advisory Team members will review the submissions and choose which ones to feature in our next newsletter. Selected entries will receive a $25 check in the mail!

Today at the East Regional Library Branch, we learned all about how rainbows are made and then brought that lesson to life by creating our very own rainbow windsocks! From discovering how sunlight and water work together to create beautiful colors in the sky to putting our creativity to work, it was a colorful day of hands-on learning and fun! 🌈
