Kava is a sacred root native to the South Pacific Islands, where it has been enjoyed ceremonially and socially for centuries.

Traditionally, the ground root is kneaded by hand in a fine cloth with cool to warm water, creating a peppery, earthy beverage.

Kava is cherished for its ability to soften the mind, relax the body, and encourage connection—making conversation flow and helping you settle into the present moment. 🪷

🪐 Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the keeper of structure, discipline, and the natural laws of the earthly realm.

🌙 The Moon is most at home in the opposite sign of Cancer, which reminds us of home, belonging, and our innermost emotional world.

This Full Moon in Capricorn invites us to ask:

Kava grows throughout the South Pacific, where the beaches are lined with sand and the ocean is the same brilliant blue as my serving tray. 🌊✨

🌿What's so fascinating is that even though we may be thousands of miles from kava's native home, sipping this sacred root has a way of slowing everything down. Just like being on beach time.

🎶I've heard someone describe it as "feeling like being at a music festival".

🪷Kava isn't hallucinogenic, but its ability to soften the mind's edges and draw us deeper into our bodies—where the present moment lives—never ceases to captivate me.

It's such a gift to share this remarkable plant with so many fellow plant lovers and curious seekers. 🌿💙
