🌕 Full Moon in Sagittarius ♐️

♐️May 30/31, 2026 🌕

This weekend’s Full Moon in Sagittarius invites us into one of life’s most profound questions:

✨ What is true for me? ✨

As I sit with this illumination coming forward, some thoughts have trickled in.

💭 Thoughts that may spark what this full moon energy ignites vs within us and asks us to embody.

Have you noticed the stirring?
Have you noticed a rising in the energy ?
I know I have.

I really love a full moon in Sag. And this lunation is special, being the second full moon in May, the blue moon 🩵, with amplified energy.

🌀An energy that asks us to keep diving deep this weekend, so here’s a little more of those thoughts as I put them down onto paper and then out here into FB land……

♐️Sagittarius is the seeker of the zodiac, the traveler, philosopher, and truth-finder. Sag reminds us that growth is not always about arriving quickly at an answer.

Sometimes the path itself is the teacher……

We spend years

👀Searching,
📚 Learning,
🌎 Exploring,
💫 Evolving, &
❤️ Experiencing

All in hopes of discovering what truly aligns with our soul. 🌀

🌕This Full Moon shines a bright, illuminating light on where we are living in alignment with our authentic truth - and where we may have outgrown old stories, identities, or beliefs. It may also simply shine a light on how the journey is the lesson.

✨For some……this lunation may bring the realization of, “This isn’t really me anymore,” or “I don’t identify with this path any longer.”

✨For others, it may bring a deep sense of confirmation:
“Yes. This is exactly where I am meant to be.”

♐️The energy of Sagittarius reminds us that the search for truth is sacred. 🙏🏽

✨It isn’t restlessness as some may say the wandering spirit of Sag can be - it is the spirit of INTEGRITY. ✨

It is the willingness to keep seeking until something resonates so deeply that we can finally say, ✨ “This is it.” ✨

That is what sets Sag apart : Sag seeks without fear. Without engaging in the “what if this is as good as it gets” because Sag is loyal to Self. An attribute that often gets lost in translation among relationships, roles we play, and masks we wear.

Sag asks us to stay loyal to our authentic self. To drop the imposter story line, and say “This is who I want to be and This is who I AM. “

As the moon reaches fullness, take a moment to pause and reflect:

🍎What am I searching for?
⚡️What feels deeply aligned?
🪐Where am I being called to trust my inner knowing?
💥Is there an area of my life where I can finally say, “This is it”?

📿May this Full Moon illuminate the path that is uniquely yours……and may it allow you to release what isn’t.

🌕 However you choose to embody this full moon energy, may you notice truths are coming into focus for you.

✨Today, we honor the sacred wisdom of the Mother.
✨The mother within us, around us, and beneath us.

✨We celebrate the nurturers, the protectors, the guides, the ones who hold space for growth, healing, and transformation. We honor the mothers who gave us life, the women who mother through love and presence, and the ancestral wisdom carried through generations like a flowing river.

🌎Mother Earth reminds us that we are never separate.
We breathe with the trees, move with the tides, bloom with the flowers, and return again and again to the rhythms of nature. The same elements that live within the earth live within us — water, fire, air, earth, and spirit woven into one interconnected existence.

🌎✨May this Mother’s Day be a moment to soften, to listen deeply, and to remember the sacred connection we share with all living things.

✨May we nurture ourselves as tenderly as the Earth nurtures us.

What do you know about ✨ Active✨ range of motion VS ✨PASSIVE✨ range of motion?

At Rae of Light Yoga, Sound Therapy, & Wellness LLC, we believe true mobility is more than just flexibility—it’s about strength, control, and awareness within your body.

✨ Active Range of Motion (AROM) is the movement you create using your own muscular strength. It builds stability, coordination, and resilience—this is where strength meets intention.

✨ Passive Range of Motion (PROM) is the movement your body can access with the help of gravity, props, or external support. This allows for deeper release, increased flexibility, and nervous system relaxation.

Both are essential.

If we only focus on passive flexibility, we may lack the strength to support those ranges—leading to instability or injury. If we only train active strength, we may limit our body’s ability to fully open and release.

🌿 In our dynamically created Hatha Yoga and mindful movement classes, we intentionally weave both active and passive practices together. You’ll explore strength within your stretch, softness within your effort, and develop a deeper relationship with your body’s unique rhythm.

This is where balance lives.
This is where sustainable movement begins.

⚖️ We often talk about creating balance—not just on the mat, but in the way we live, think, nourish, and move through the world.

🧘🏽‍♀️ In yogic philosophy, this balance is described through the three gunas: sattva, rajas, and tamas.

✨ Sattva is clarity, harmony, and peace. It’s the state where we feel aligned, present, and connected—to ourselves, to others, and to nature.

🔥 Rajas is energy, movement, and drive. It’s what pushes us to create, achieve, and take action—but when it’s excessive, it can show up as restlessness, overwhelm, or constant “doing.”

🌑 Tamas is heaviness, stillness, and inertia. It allows for rest and grounding—but too much can feel like stagnation, fatigue, or disconnection.

A satvic (balanced) life isn’t about eliminating rajas or tamas—they are both necessary and natural. It’s about learning how to work with them, so they support us rather than control us.

Through practices like yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and sound healing, we begin to:
🔥 calm excess rajas
🌑uplift heavy tamas
⚖️ and gently cultivate more sattva

🌱 This might look like choosing nourishing foods, stepping outside for fresh air, creating space for stillness, or simply becoming more aware of what your mind and body are asking for.

💫Balance isn’t something we achieve once—it’s something we practice, moment by moment.

Today we celebrate Earth Day — a powerful reminder that we are not separate from this planet… we are part of it.

At Rae of Light Yoga, Sound Therapy, & Wellness, we honor the Earth not just as something we live on, but something we live with. Every breath we take, every step we walk, every moment we soften into presence connects us back to the natural world.

Nature holds an innate intelligence — in its rhythms, its cycles, its ability to restore balance. And that same intelligence lives within each of us. Through practices like yoga, sound healing, breathwork, and mindfulness, we begin to remember that connection. We return to a state of harmony — within ourselves and with the world around us.

When we care for our inner landscape, we naturally begin to care more deeply for the outer one.

We slow down.
We listen.
We become more intentional in how we live, consume, and connect.

A regulated nervous system, a grounded body, an open heart — these ripple far beyond the individual. They influence how we show up for our communities, how we treat the Earth, and how we contribute to the collective well-being of humanity.

Earth Day isn’t just about appreciation — it’s about relationship.

Today, take a moment to reconnect.
Step outside. Breathe deeply. Move gently. Listen closely.

And remember — tending to yourself is also a way of tending to the Earth.
