Peptides are getting attention at the federal level.
On September 1, Rep. Nancy Mace introduced the PEPTIDES for Veterans Act, which would direct the Department of Veterans Affairs to study the safety, effectiveness and potential benefits of peptide-based therapies for veterans.
The proposed study would look at areas including recovery, rehabilitation, chronic pain, mental health and physical wellness.
Important distinction: this does not mean these therapies have been approved for use across the VA.
It means Congress is being asked to take a closer look at the evidence—and if the results support their safety and benefit, the bill calls for a voluntary VA pilot program.
For us, that's the bigger story.
Peptide therapy is moving beyond the fringe conversation and into a much larger discussion around evidence-based health, recovery and longevity.
We'll be watching this one closely.

Peptide therapies vary in FDA approval status, evidence and intended use. Treatment decisions should be made with a qualified healthcare provider.
