🚶‍♀️ Move better. Feel better. Live better. 💙

One of the biggest frustrations we hear from people is having to wait weeks, or even months, to start physical therapy. When you’re in pain, dealing with dizziness, recovering from an injury, or struggling to do the activities you love, waiting isn’t the answer.

At Waypoint Physical Therapy, we work hard to keep our schedule accessible so you can get started on your recovery quickly. Whether you’re dealing with a recent injury, nagging aches and pains, balance concerns, TMJ pain, or just aren’t moving the way you’d like to, we’re here to help.

📅 We currently have appointment availability next week, and we’d love to help you get back to doing what matters most.

Don’t wait for the pain to get worse or for another month to pass before taking the first step.

Your recovery starts with one conversation. Let’s get moving. 💪

As a small business, word of mouth means everything to us. ❤️

Every Google review, like, comment, share, and follow helps us reach more people in our community who may be struggling with pain and not know where to turn.
If we’ve helped you on your journey, we’d be incredibly grateful if you’d take a moment to leave us a Google review, engage with our posts, or invite a friend to follow our page. These small actions make a huge difference and help us continue growing so we can help even more people move better, feel better, and live pain-free.

To all of our current followers, patients, and supporters—thank you. We appreciate you more than you know. 🙏

Help us spread the word and reach those who could benefit from physical therapy. Your support helps us change lives, one person at a time.

Today Kim had the opportunity to observe her patient’s shoulder surgery at Mass General, and it was an incredible learning experience!

As physical therapists, we spend months helping patients recover after surgery, but getting to see the procedure firsthand provides a whole new perspective.

Watching each step, seeing the anatomy, and understanding exactly what was repaired and how helps bridge the gap between the operating room and the rehabilitation process.

Experiences like this allow us to better educate our patients, tailor their rehab, and appreciate the skill and teamwork involved in getting them back to doing what they love.

A huge thank you to Dr. Ryan Lohre and the rest surgical team for the opportunity to learn and continue growing as a clinician. Even got to watch a second bonus surgery he was doing! 🦴💪

Chronic inflammation can slowly weaken the connective tissues that support your joints, muscles, and movement — often long before a major injury happens. Things like poor recovery, persistent aches, stiffness, tendon irritation, and recurring pain may all be signs your body is struggling to heal efficiently.

Our newest blog breaks down:
• How chronic inflammation affects connective tissue health
• Why “wear and tear” is more than just aging
• The connection between inflammation, pain, and recovery
• What you can do to better support long-term movement health

A few of us braved the 87 deg weather yesterday to get out and enjoy nature ☀️🌿

That’s really the goal of the Waypoint Walkers — encouraging people to get outside, connect with the community, and simply enjoy movement together. No pressure, no required pace… just a welcoming group walk for anyone who wants to join.

As the group grows, we’d love to start exploring different walking spots around Freeport, but for now you can find us every Tuesday at 3:15 PM at the Cousins River Trail (behind the YMCA parking lot in Freeport).

Today was the very first walk of the Waypoint Walkers Walking Club! ☀️🥾

The group may have been small, but the weather was beautiful, the views were worth it, and it was a great start to what we hope becomes a fun community activity.

For those of you who may feel a little nervous about joining, here are a few snapshots of the trail so you know what to expect! The path has some mild ups and downs throughout with a few roots and rocks along the way. Nothing too crazy, but if your balance is a little off, trekking poles may help keep you feeling safe and confident.

Our goal with this group is simple — create a welcoming community space where people can get outside, socialize, meet new community members, and get to know us beyond the clinic walls.

We’d love to have you join us next week — same time, same place! 🚶‍♀️🌲
