Meet one of our compassionate North Star Nurses:

Rosalyn’s passion for Nursing began long before she earned her Nursing license. Inspired by her mother, a dedicated CNA, she spent much of her younger years watching firsthand the impact compassion and genuine care could have on patients and families. Seeing her mother brighten people’s days and care for others with love and dignity inspired Rosalyn to pursue a career where she could do the same.

On February 2, 2024, Rosalyn officially became a nurse and quickly began building experience in multiple healthcare settings, including direct admissions at HCA Healthcare and time spent in the emergency department at University of Texas Medical Branch. While she once imagined herself delivering babies, she discovered her true passion in Hospice care… where compassion, connection, and supporting patients and families during life’s most important moments truly feel like home to her.

Rosalyn is known for her warm personality, strong teamwork, and unwavering compassion. She naturally makes others feel seen, valued, and cared for. Not only her patients and families, but virtually everyone she encounters.
Her ability to connect with people, lead with empathy, and provide comfort during difficult times makes her a meaningful presence in healthcare and an advocate for patient-centered care.

Rosalyn, you are a true blessing to North Star. Words cannot express how much we appreciate you and your love you give. We see you.
