Something special happens when our scoliosis rehabilitation therapists come together to learn.

Our superstars Sadie and Rachel from East Phoenix, and Lola from North Carolina, recently completed their ScoliBalance Level 1 certification together.

So proud of our SRTs!

Scoliosis care is not only about what happens during an appointment.

It can also support the way patients move, sit, stand, study, work, exercise, and feel in everyday life.

For teens, this may mean guidance around school, sports, confidence, and routines.

For adults, it may mean support with posture, mobility, comfort, strength, and long-term spine health.

For parents, it can mean having clearer information about how to support their child at home.

At ScoliCare East Phoenix, care is personalized based on the patient’s age, curve pattern, symptoms, goals, and daily needs.

Meet Sally! ✨

Sally came to us looking for relief from pain and concerns with her posture. Just 5 months into her ScoliBalance and ScoliBrace journey, she has seen significant improvements in her posture, reduced pain, and an overall better quality of life.

One of the things we love most about Sally’s story is how well she has incorporated her treatment into her everyday life. Scoliosis has not slowed her down for a single stride. She continues doing the things she loves, including riding her horse!

Her dedication is a great reminder that scoliosis care does not have to mean putting your life on hold. With the right approach and consistency, treatment becomes part of the life you already love.

81 years old and still doing what she loves, just with better posture and less pain.

Getting a scoliosis diagnosis is not just a clinical moment. For a lot of people, it is an emotional one too.

The worry about looking different, keeping up, or what life might look like from here does not always get talked about in the same breath as X-rays and treatment plans. But it is just as real, and it deserves just as much space in the conversation.

If this resonates with you or someone you know, share it with them. This part of the journey deserves attention too.

Scoliosis or kyphosis care can feel easier when patients and families have clear guidance, trusted support, and a team that listens.

At ScoliCare East Phoenix, care is built around helping people feel informed, comfortable, and supported from the first visit.

Our team helps patients better understand their scoliosis or kyphosis, what treatment options may look like, and how care can be personalized based on age, symptoms, posture, curve pattern, and individual goals.

Follow-up visits help keep scoliosis care on track.

Scoliosis care does not always end after the first assessment.

Follow-up visits help patients and families better understand how the curve, posture, symptoms, and treatment plan may be progressing over time.

During follow-up care, the team may review changes in growth, curve behavior, comfort, movement, brace fit, scoliosis-specific exercises, or any new concerns.

This helps guide whether the current scoliosis care plan is still appropriate or if adjustments may be needed.

The people delivering your care are always working to be better at it.

Last weekend, our scoliosis rehabilitation therapists Sadie and Rachel flew from East Phoenix to Naples to complete their ScoliBalance Level 1 certification. Three days of hands on, practical training in scoliosis and hyperkyphosis specific exercise rehabilitation, covering corrective postures, scoliosis specific exercises, and how to integrate them into each patient's individual program.

We are incredibly proud of both of them!

Scoliosis does not always cause pain in the beginning, especially in children and teens.

That is why early scoliosis assessment matters, even when your child feels fine or the curve does not seem severe yet.

Understanding the curve early can help families learn about progression risk, growth stage, posture changes, and possible treatment options.

Early clarity can make it easier to decide whether monitoring, scoliosis-specific exercises, bracing, or another next step may be appropriate.

If you or your child gets headaches regularly, scoliosis might be worth considering as part of the picture.

It is not the most obvious connection, but the two can be linked in a few ways. Uneven posture from a spinal curve can pull on the muscles of the neck and upper back, creating tension that builds into headaches. In some cases, particularly once growth has slowed, curves can become more compressive and place pressure on nerves. There is also emerging research around how a curved spine may affect the flow of fluid around the brain and spinal cord.

New or worsening headaches are not something to brush off, especially for someone already living with scoliosis. They can be a sign that something is shifting.

Save this and bring it up with your clinician at your next visit.
