“Does my teen really need oral surgery?”
That is the first question almost every parent asks, and the honest answer is sometimes no.

Not every teenager needs their wisdom teeth removed. But when removal is the right call, timing genuinely matters. Between roughly 16 and 19, roots are often only two thirds formed, which means a shorter procedure, less risk near the nerve, and a faster recovery than the same surgery at 30.
