Listen up—do NOT put anything on your tattoo or piercing that your artist doesn’t recommend.
Antibiotic ointment? Hell no.
Bactine? Absolutely not.
Scented lotions? Hell no.
Hydrogen peroxide? F**k no.
alcohol? Nope, nope, nope..
Wound cleaner from your doctor ? Nooo!!.
Diaper rash cream ? You're better off letting it dry heal if you're going to be that silly 🤣

Your tattoo or piercing is an investment—treat it like one. If you don’t follow the aftercare recommendations, don’t even think about blaming your artist if it heals poorly. You should ALWAYS get an aftercare sheet with clear instructions. Follow them.
A good artist is here for you through the healing process, but YOU are the one who has to put in the effort. Message them if you have questions. This is your body. Don’t take shortcuts. If you don’t take care of it properly, there’s no one to blame but yourself.
