One pattern I keep seeing in energy healing is that people focus so hard on the form that they lose the relationship.

They try to hold the right posture.
They try to do the technique correctly.
They try to keep their attention in the right place.

But healing work is not just the performance of a technique.
Something is happening.

There is a relationship with the body, the life force, the images, the field, and the whole living process.

When the focus stays only on doing it right, the practice becomes too narrow.

I’ve been teaching people how to give simple, effective energy-healing sessions to their beloved family members and even pets with cancer. I found I was repeating myself a lot. When people had to wait for appointments with me. I felt bad that I couldn’t get them started with something until we could meet.

Time is of the essence in many cancer situations! Sometimes I would train one family member, they would realize how great it was, and they would try to teach another friend or family member, but some gaps made it difficult. I needed a way to bridge the gap between what was on my website, my book, and private time with me.

Years of doing this work have shown me that healing changes when it stops being a performance.

I see people count sessions, check whether they practiced correctly, monitor every sensation, and try to make the body respond.
That looks responsible from the outside, but it's not playful, spontaneous, or "living."

Inside the energy-healing process, control is not the same as participation.

A living body is not a passive object waiting for the right technique to be applied to it. It is something we relate to.
That distinction matters.

“How Do I Know If It’s Working?” Practical Post

“I’m willing to try energy medicine… but how will I know if it’s actually doing anything?”

Excellent question. In my book, There Is Another Way, I walk you through specific signs of healing on different levels:

Physical signs:

Tumor cooling during treatment (sometimes you can literally feel a cool breeze)

Changes in size/texture of the tumor
Fever at certain stages (and why you usually shouldn’t suppress it)

Life force signs:

Your pet is becoming brighter, more active, or more settled
Better sleep, appetite, and elimination
A new light in their eyes ✨

Emotional signs:

Unexpected waves of peace
Bursts of joy — often in you as the tumor starts to heal
Old stored emotions “leaving” the tissue

This is not about magical thinking. It’s about careful, loving observation.

Years of doing this work have shown me that fear is not the failure point in healing.

The problem begins when fear becomes the whole field. Then the person is no longer experiencing fear. They are organized around it.
That distinction matters.

In the Bengston Method, strong emotion is not treated as something that must be removed before healing can occur. Fear, anger, grief, and terror are not proof that you are doing something wrong.

They are part of the living field you bring into the practice.

They monitor it.
They force it.
They try to achieve the right state.
The practice becomes something to manage.

What interests me is that healing seems to respond better to participation than control.
