What if your body isn’t asking you to stretch more?

Sometimes, the tension you feel isn’t simply a tight muscle that needs to be pulled or released. It may be connected to how you breathe, how your body responds to stress, and how often you move through your day in a state of bracing or holding.

In my free live virtual webinar on October 2 at 12 PM, we’ll look beyond the tight muscles and begin to understand the patterns underneath them.

You’ll learn why your tension may keep returning, experience a simple practice to help your body feel more supported, and discover small shifts you can begin using in everyday life.

I’ll also share more about The Calm Mom Reset, my upcoming 6-week virtual program for moms who want less tension, less pain, and more calm in their bodies.

If your usual stretching routine isn’t creating lasting change, this may be the missing piece. 🤍

One last pool yoga morning.
So much to be grateful for. ☀️🤍

We closed out our last pool yoga class of the summer, and I’m feeling a little bittersweet. ☀️💦

These mornings were about more than movement. They were time outside, a chance to breathe, and space to enjoy being together without rushing to the next thing.

Thank you to everyone who made pool yoga part of your summer. I loved sharing this time with you. 🤍

Here’s to carrying a little of that summer ease into the season ahead.

Movement and breath can become an anchor when everything around us feels unsettled.

Gentle movement helps us reconnect with our bodies. A slower breath gives our nervous system a signal that we are safe enough to soften.

It doesn’t mean the morning suddenly becomes easy—or that we need to be perfectly calm.

It simply gives us a place to return to.

And when we feel a little more grounded and regulated, we have more capacity to support our children through their own big feelings and difficult transitions. 🤍

Sometimes, supporting their nervous system begins with tending to our own.

09/03/2026

Difficult morning transitions can feel hard for both of us.

I’m learning to notice where I’m bracing, gripping, holding my breath, or carrying tension in my body—and to pause before reacting.

A slower breath.
A softer jaw.
Feet grounded beneath me.

Not because I need to be perfectly calm, but because when I support and regulate my nervous system first, I’m better able to help her regulate hers.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer our children is our own pause. 🤍

09/02/2026

Back-to-school transitions can affect more than your schedule—they can show up in your body, too.

Now that the kids are back in school… how have drop-offs and transitions been feeling for you?

If you’re carrying pain, recovering from an injury, or feeling the weight of stress and anxiety in your body, you don’t have to push through it alone.

I’m here to support you with breath-centered physical therapy, mindful movement, and nervous system regulation. 🤍

For years, walking even short distances caused her low-back pain.

Now she is walking 17,000 steps(on vacation) - which she was scared about.

She now has the tools and confidence to respond differently when soreness arises.

Healing isn’t always about never feeling discomfort again.

Sometimes it looks like understanding what you’re feeling, knowing how to support yourself, and no longer assuming that every sensation means damage.

Her diagnosis may still be part of her story.

But it no longer gets to define what her body is capable of. 🤍

What if you didn’t push a stretch all the way to your end range?

What if you pulled back by 50%—and used your breath to create space instead?

Try settling into a gentler version of the stretch. Inhale into the areas that feel tight or restricted. As you slowly exhale, allow your body to soften and lengthen without forcing it.

Pushing harder may create a temporary feeling of release, but it doesn’t always create lasting change—especially when your body responds by guarding or tightening again.

Sometimes, less intensity gives your nervous system enough safety to let go.

The next time you stretch, try doing less—and notice whether your body gives you more. 🤍
