Happy Summer Solstice ☀️✨

Sending you highest-light energy straight from the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument.

Did you know this sacred space is a biological crossroads where three distinct mountain ranges converge? There is no better place to celebrate the longest day of the year than a land defined by ultimate balance and diversity.

Today, the sun stands still. Let’s take a cue from the earth: pause, ground your feet into the soil, and let the summer warmth recharge your nervous system. 🌲

What is one thing you want to bring to full bloom this season?

Let me know below...

I am incredibly excited to share that EcoRECOVERY will be collaborating with the National Vehicle Residency Coalition (NVRC) to explore creating EcoRECOVERY gatherings for the NVRC community.

Today, I had the privilege of speaking with Dr. Graham Pruss, and I left our conversation inspired by his passion, wisdom, and commitment to honoring the dignity and lived experiences of people residing in vehicles.

Dr. Pruss is an anthropologist whose work focuses on vehicle residency, housing instability, public policy, and community-centered solutions.

At EcoRECOVERY, we believe that healing happens through connection—to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world. I am excited to explore how nature immersion and forest therapy can create spaces of belonging, restoration, and community for vehicle residents across the country.

This collaboration feels deeply aligned with our mission of ensuring that everyone has access to the healing power of nature, regardless of their housing situation.

And I must admit I was a little jealous that Dr. Pruss is in the black rock desert right now!

Stay tuned—this is just the beginning, and I can't wait to see what we create together. 🌲💚

There was a time when drugs and alcohol were how I numbed the pain of abandonment, homelessness, violence, and trauma.

I spent years in survival mode, never imagining the life I have today.

The truth is, I didn't find recovery because I believed in myself. I found it because other people believed in me first. They saw something worth saving when I couldn't see it myself.

Today I have a beautiful family, supportive friends, meaningful work as a nurse practitioner helping others in recovery, and a life I never thought was possible.

That's why I will always challenge the idea that we can't work harder than the people we serve.

Sometimes people are so exhausted by survival that they need someone to help carry hope until they can carry it themselves. I know because I was one of them.

Recovery gave me more than sobriety—it gave me a life, a purpose, and the chance to discover who I truly am.

To everyone who helped me along the way: thank you. And to anyone struggling today, please know that healing is possible. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.

What a wonderful time I had with the Rogue Gateway Rotary in Grants Pass!

I had the opportunity to share the story of EcoRECOVERY, our mission, and the powerful impact that nature-based healing can have for individuals with lived experience of addiction.

It is always inspiring to connect with community leaders who care deeply about creating healthier, more connected communities.

Thank you to the Rogue Gateway Rotary team for welcoming me and for your interest in the work we are doing to foster healing, resilience, and recovery through connection with nature.

Every conversation helps expand awareness of what is possible when we support people in finding belonging, hope, and purpose.

Together, we are building stronger communities—one connection, one conversation, and one step into nature at a time.

Rogue Gateway Rotary thank you!
