Happy Monday!

This morning, we saw a record number of patients…..in 3 years…….🤯We apologize if anyone tried to call and didn’t get through. It was literally standing room only. Please give us time to return calls over the next 24-48 hours. Mondays are generally the busiest day, but Covid has hit our town HARD.

If you come to the clinic for allergy shots, we recommend you try to come on Tuesdays or Thursdays. This is typically a lower volume day and less sickness to be around : )

After a peaceful, glorious, summer break….covid is starting to show itself again.

Typical symptoms seem to start with a sore throat, quickly followed by congestion and a dry cough. Children seem to complain of headaches and nausea as well. Fever does seem prevalent this time around.

If symptoms are greater than 24 hours long, it is normally detected on tests. Testing too early will cause a false negative (meaning you have Covid but the test says you don’t). Please do your best to stay away from anyone who is medically fragile during those 24-48 hours to limit the spread.

Encourage your school aged children to wash their hands frequently, use hand sanitizer, and don’t drink after each other (sports teams….I’m looking at you!🙃)

People with lung issues (COPD, asthma) please be aware of the air quality the next few days. Limit your time outdoors and make sure you are taking your routine medications/inhalers!
