Adaptable Physical & Occupational Therapy

Adaptable Physical & Occupational Therapy As HEALTH care providers opposed to the sickcare model, it is our role to build autonomy and self efficacy far beyond our episode of care. Guide.

Adaptable PT/OT is a wellness forward clinic providing 1:1 visits for all aged patients.
Our hope is that you feel empowered and in control of your health. We want to guide you through recovery or injury prevention. That truly is the best d

escriptor. We can provide direction, but it requires the individual following through with that information to truly adopt the habit of movement as medicine. We aren’t going to stop at just talking about your shoulder pain and what you can do to help it. We also want to know how well you are sleeping, are you getting good nutrients throughout the day, are you drinking enough water, and are you managing your stress in a healthy way. If these other factors are not addressed it can intensify symptoms and prolong recovery. We want to help reduce pain and return function as effectively and efficiently as possible.

✨DID YOU KNOW?!✨
Alzheimer’s affects much more than memory. It can impact mood, mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. While there is no cure, physical therapy can play an important role in helping individuals maintain their health and function for as long as possible.

🧠 1. Improves Mood & Reduces Agitation
Regular movement and exercise can help decrease feelings of frustration, anxiety, and anger while boosting overall mood and emotional well-being.

🚶 2. Strengthens the Body & Improves Mobility
Physical therapy focuses on strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination, helping reduce the risk of falls and making movement safer and easier.

🏡 3. Supports Daily Independence
By improving physical function, individuals can often continue performing everyday tasks such as walking, dressing, and getting around their home with greater confidence and independence.

💙 4. May Help Slow Cognitive Decline
Research suggests that regular physical activity can support brain health, improve blood flow to the brain, and may help slow the progression of memory and cognitive deterioration.

At Adaptable Physical Therapy, we believe movement is medicine. Helping our patients stay active, independent, and engaged in life is at the heart of what we do.
