In this Ancient work, ‘The Sacred’ is not an idea born from our religious or spiritual beliefs, it is a resonance awake in every cell of our bodies. It is such an honor to be called to the magnificent land of Ireland! Much like Hawai’i the land here is alive, awake, and full of Beingness. In many ways, the belief systems of the ancient Celts and ancient Hawaiians are similar. There is a distance between them geographically, but no distance at all in Spirit. Eire has been a potent place to open to the embodied, mystical teachings of Ke Ala Hōkū - The Pathway to The Stars. The Power and Beauty of this land matches the Power and Beauty of the work. The relentless bits of news, information, and entertainment can sweep us into a frenzied river, scattering our attention, rhythm, and perspective. At the same time, there is a Real River pouring through us in the graceful undulations of pure Life. We CAN disengage from the frenzy. We CAN sink into something that nourishes us, sustains us, and will never fail us. I’m grateful to be in a body of work that isn’t work at all, but a constant return to the endless River of Life in my body, perceptions and awareness.
