Some people inspire you by what they say. Others inspire you by how they live.
Grace Martin and the entire Martin family are the definition of selfless service, unwavering faith, and relentless hope.
Long before Grace was diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer, she was spending her summers collecting seashells on the beaches of Stone Harbor, painting them with messages of encouragement for people fighting cancer. Today, despite courageously facing her second battle with a rare pediatric brain tumor, Grace continues to dedicate her life to helping other children and families navigate the same journey through Shells of Hope NJ.
Because of Grace’s vision and the incredible support of the Martin family, thousands of dollars have been raised for pediatric brain cancer research, families facing treatment-related hardships have received support, and young survivors have been awarded scholarships to pursue their dreams.
This is what true courage looks like.
This is what turning pain into purpose looks like.
On Father’s Day, June 21st, please consider supporting the Harbor Hustle 5K & 1-Mile Run/Walk, donating, sponsoring, or simply helping spread awareness. Every contribution helps fund research, support families, and bring hope to children battling pediatric brain cancer.
The Martins have spent so much of their lives giving to others. Let’s show them the same love, support, and generosity they have shown our community.
We are honored to stand beside Grace and the Martin family in their mission to turn the tide on pediatric brain cancer.
