Monica has put in the work, and it shows.

She’s built more muscle, looks leaner, and says she’s in the best shape she’s ever been. That progress belongs to her.

What we’re especially proud of is that her experience with Eliza is one of many examples of what coaching at RTS is meant to feel like.

Eliza works with Monica as both her training coach and nutrition coach, which means their weekly check-ins go beyond one piece of the puzzle. They look at what Monica ate, how her workouts went, how she’s feeling, what questions came up, and where adjustments may help.

It’s individualized. It’s supportive. And it gives Monica a clear path to keep doing the work that is producing results.

Monica, you’ve earned every bit of this progress. We’re grateful to be part of it.

If you’re looking for this kind of coaching and support, send RTS a DM or visit rtsct.com.

Training means something different to me now than it did when I was 25.

I have a family, a business, people who count on me, and a lot of life I still want to be fully present for.

For me, training is part of making sure I can keep showing up for all of it.

A short-term result can be real and still not be sustainable.

That is one of the biggest lessons we learned from running fixed-term challenges at RTS. People were capable of losing weight, getting stronger, improving their habits, and doing exactly what the program asked of them. The problem was that the structure taught them how to succeed inside the challenge, not necessarily how to succeed once the challenge disappeared.

Real progress is not just reaching a target under ideal conditions. It is understanding enough about your training, nutrition, habits, and decision-making that you can keep moving forward when work gets busy, your schedule changes, motivation drops, or life simply becomes normal again.

The result should not be the finish line. It should give you more capability, more understanding, and a better foundation for whatever comes next.

That is the standard we are after at RTS.

If your weekends keep undoing the progress you make Monday through Friday, the problem may not be discipline. It may be that you are leaving too many decisions to the moment.

When you are tired, traveling, running from one kids’ event to another, and choosing whatever is easiest, the environment starts making decisions for you.

That is why we talk about managing your choices or managing your compromise. If you know the weekend is going to be unpredictable, build a realistic plan before you get there. That does not mean trying to eat perfectly or control every meal. It means deciding where you are willing to compromise, accounting for it, and giving everything else enough structure to keep you moving in the right direction.

The goal is not 100% compliance.

The goal is enough structure to make good choices most of the time, with enough freedom that your life does not feel controlled by the plan.

Sometimes, not moving backwards is progress.

If you are looking for training, nutrition, or physical therapy built around the realities of your life, start the conversation with RTS at rtsct.com.

Let’s talk about what a stronger you looks like.

Everybody working in strength and conditioning has the dream: work with the pros. The NFL, the NHL, the highest levels of sport.

But the highest level doesn’t necessarily mean the greatest opportunity to make an impact.

For Corey, our Director of Performance here at RTS, working with younger athletes has been one of the most rewarding spaces to coach.

A freshman, sophomore, or junior in high school has so much capacity to grow. You have the opportunity to help them build strength, confidence, and the physical qualities they want to display on the field, court, or ice.

And the impact can extend far beyond their sport.

The goal is to help them develop the physical confidence, skills, and habits to take care of their bodies, their nutrition, and their fitness for the rest of their lives.

That’s an opportunity Corey doesn’t want to squander.

If you’re a parent looking for a place that takes the development of young athletes seriously, start a conversation with us at RTS.

A good physical therapy plan should start with an evaluation, not a predetermined schedule.

If a clinic is telling you before they’ve even assessed you that you’ll need to come in three times a week for six weeks, that should raise a question. The same goes for how much time you’ll actually spend with your physical therapist. Are you working with them throughout the session, or seeing them for five minutes before being passed off or left with a sheet of exercises?

The right frequency of care depends on the person, the condition, and what the evaluation actually shows. For one person that may mean twice a week. For someone else, it may mean once a month.

RTS has been built around quality for 20 years and counting, and that standard extends to the providers we work alongside.

That’s why ProMotion Physical Therapy is a provider at RTS. Marc and his PT team bring an individualized approach to care along with additional capabilities including the VALD System, ELDOA, manual therapy, and dry needling.

Quality matters. Who you trust with your care matters. And asking the right questions before you choose a provider matters.

Kids are watching what we eat, even when we are not intentionally trying to teach them anything.

As Eliza and Luke discuss, the food choices we make for ourselves can influence the entire household. When parents eat more intentionally, prepare foods that work for the family, and expose kids to foods like chicken, vegetables, and other nutrient-dense options, those habits can start much earlier than we realize.

And those habits can become a powerful lever as kids grow into adulthood.

This is just one of the conversations coming in a new three-part series with Eliza Wendel, Registered Dietitian and Training Coach at Ranfone Training Systems (RTS), and Luke Serwinski, founder, owner, and head chef of Strong Kitchen in Hamden, Connecticut.

They are breaking down how active adults can use prepared meals to make nutrition more practical without giving up the structure and flexibility needed to support strength, performance, body composition, and overall health.

How do you evaluate a prepared meal? Fit it into your macros? Adjust portions to your goals? Build a meal from prepared proteins, carbohydrates, vegetables, and sides?

We’re getting into all of it.

The series is dropping soon.

RTS is for the person who wants to take a proactive stance on their health.

Maybe you feel like you’re not getting the right direction from your physical therapist, nutritionist, or trainer. Maybe you’re tired of excuses or recommendations that don’t align with what you believe you need.

We believe health is something you accrue daily through your habits, behaviors, and choices. And when you have the right feedback and can look at those decisions objectively through multiple lenses, you can make a better decision about how to move forward.

If you’re ready to start that conversation, DM us to set up a discovery or visit rtsct.com.
