I want to share something a little embarrassing.

Last year, I was was named one of Natural Nutmeg's 10BEST in the Life Coach category.

My first reaction? Surprise. Full-on "wait, really? me?" surprise.

Which is funny, and a little humbling, because I spend my days helping people own who they are, recognize their worth, and celebrate their gifts without apology. And here I was, caught off guard by something I had genuinely worked hard for and deserved.

Here's what I've come to understand: the inner work is never really finished.
There's always another layer. And noticing where we still dim ourselves - that IS the work.

Last year I didn't even ask anyone to nominate me. This year I'm asking. Out loud. On purpose. Because it feels right, and easy, and deserved.

That's the shift.

Natural Nutmeg's 10BEST nominations are open now through September 1st. If my work has meant something to you, I'd be so honored if you'd nominate me in the Life Coach category.

πŸ‘‰ Head to www.naturalnutmeg.com and look for the popup that takes you right to the ballot. Find Life Coach and type Lauri Ingram. Link also in comments.

And please nominate any other healers or practitioners who've shown up for you too.

Recognizing each other is its own kind of practice. πŸ’›

What would it feel like to take a break?

How would space in your day feel?

If you've done the work - the courses, the journaling, the personal development - and something still won't shift, I want you to know something:

You're not broken. You're not doing it wrong.

You've just been working at one layer of a three-layer system.

The conscious mind - the part that reads and learns and intends - is only the beginning. Beneath it lives the subconscious, where your patterns and beliefs actually run. 95% of our actions are subconscious.

And beneath that, the superconscious - your connection to something larger, your inner knowing, your sense of the divine.

Most personal development never touches layers two and three.

Which is exactly why it only goes so far.

Real transformation - the kind that actually sticks - happens when all three are in conversation at the same time.

That's the work I do. And it changes things that have been stuck for years.

Swipe through the slides to see each layer explained. And if one of them resonates, drop a word in the comments β€” I'd love to hear what's landing for you. 🌿

Imagine you've taken two hours completely for yourself.
You've slowed down.
You've released some of the mental noise.
You've listened to your inner wisdom instead of everyone else's opinions.
You've created something tangible that reminds you of who you're becoming.
And you've walked away feeling lighter.
Clearer.
More connected to yourself.
What would that be worth?
The interesting thing about transformation is that it often begins the moment we decide to create space for it.
Not when everything is figured out.
Not when we're finally ready.
When we're willing.
If you could leave one thing behind as you move into the second half of the year, what would it be?
Join me for The Threshold of Light and let's explore what wants to emerge together.

This past month I received five consecutive five-star reviews from couples whose weddings I was honored to officiate.

I've been sitting with them, taking in their words.

What struck me reading through them wasn't just the kind words - it was the thread running through all of them.

Every couple mentioned feeling seen.
Heard.
Like their ceremony was made just for them.
That doesn't happen by accident.

Before I write a single word of any ceremony, I spend real time getting to know a couple - their story, what they value, what they want to carry into their marriage.

And sitting with these reviews, I kept thinking - this is exactly what I do with coaching clients too.

A wedding ceremony is a threshold. You walk in as one version of yourself and walk out having committed to who you're becoming.

But some of the most significant thresholds in our lives don't come with a venue and a guest list.
The career that no longer fits.
The version of yourself you're ready to leave behind.
The life you can feel pulling at you but can't quite step into yet.

That's the work too.

Every threshold is easier to cross with someone who knows the way.

If that's where you are right now, I'd love to connect. πŸ”— lauriingram.com

What if watching someone else step into their fulfillment wasn't a reminder of what you lack,
but proof that what you're looking for is real?

That shift changed everything for me.

The comparing.
The going quiet.
The folding.

It wasn't humility.
It was a habit installed a long time ago, when making myself smaller felt safer.

The work is uninstalling it.

And on the other side of that work?

A version of you who stopped shrinking.

Who stopped waiting for permission to take up space.

She's already there. Swipe through to see the full arc. πŸ’—
