🌿 THE WILD HERBS DR. SEBI USED
Before wellness became an industry, many traditional herbal practices centered around plants growing wild in nature. 🌱
Dr. Sebi became widely known for incorporating herbs, roots, barks, and sea botanicals into his approach to wellness—including herbs such as sarsaparilla, burdock root, dandelion, stinging nettle, elderberry, mullein, and sea moss.
What has always fascinated me is that many of these weren’t glamorous ingredients. They were simple plants—some growing wild and others used in traditional herbal practices for generations.
Having personally spent time around Dr. Sebi and his approach, one of the things that stayed with me was the emphasis on returning to nature and learning about the plants around us.
Over the next several posts, I’m going to revisit some of these botanicals—what they are, their traditional uses, and why they became associated with his herbal philosophy. 🌿
How many of these herbs have YOU actually used?
