💤 Did you know? Children with ADHD are much more likely to snore, sleep restlessly, and experience disrupted sleep than their peers.

When a child isn’t getting quality sleep, the effects can show up during the day as difficulty focusing, impulsivity, hyperactivity, emotional regulation challenges, and learning difficulties. Sometimes what looks like a behavioral concern may have a sleep component contributing to the symptoms.

As an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, I have learned to look beyond daytime behaviors and consider what is happening during sleep. For example, Mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, and frequent wakings.
