Congratulations to the HHRC star activity resident Sally Howard on her win today of the artist of the week. Sally attends all activities. She enjoys bingo, bowling and games. She attends Church, bible study and is an active member of the Resident Council. She enjoys playing cards with other residents and socializing in the common areas. She is a friend to all. Congratulations, Sally!

Residents and staff came together to share special birthday
wishes for our resident and friend Mary Diamond.
Mary and her family invited residents to join in to celebrate Mary’s 93rd birthday. The afternoon was filled with family, friends, delicious foods and treats. It was an honor to help celebrate this beautiful lady and family. Happy Birthday, Mary.

We wanted to share a quick FYI for our resident’s families and the community. We have recently transitioned to a new phone system at the facility. As with any new technology, our staff are learning to become familiar with the new system and its’ features. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we work through this transition. Our team is dedicated to working hard and ensuring things run as smoothly as possible. Thank you!

Residents had a blast in cooking and nutrition class yesterday. Cupcake decorating, ice cream treats and a special visit with our friend Pat Duncan from Harlan Extension Agency made for a sweet day.

We had a blast as we took our bingo-cize program on the road! The morning was filled with laughter, prizes and bingo fun! Thank you, to all our friends at the Senior Citizen Center for being fabulous hosts.

Shawn Step has been a Physical Therapist here at Harlan since 2018! He has now opened his own clinic in Cumberland,Ky. We want to congratulate Shawn Stepp on his new journey!! He will be greatly missed by all of us at Harlan Health and Rehab.
