We prepare endlessly for birth.

But almost no one prepares mothers for what comes after.

The fourth trimester is one of the biggest transitions a woman will ever experience physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Yet our healthcare system often gives mothers one postpartum visit around six weeks and expects them to figure out the rest.

You’re told to get back to work.
Take care of the older kids.
Prioritize your marriage.
Manage a household.
Take care of a newborn dependent on you 24/7.
Eat enough, drink enough, move your body.
Breastfeed or pump, if you’re able.
Learning to care for a whole new human being (because every baby is different).
Learning or relearning your identity, and the being a mom isn’t all that you are. You are still YOU.

All while healing from a wound or multiple wounds & the biggest hormonal drop you’ll likely experience.

I don’t believe mothers need to be “stronger.”

I believe they deserve better support.

That’s why I created my postpartum and newborn care packages, to walk alongside families during those first months, not just to check healing, but to care for the whole person.

Because when we care for moms, we care for babies too.

Back-to-school sports will be here before we know it!
Olea Functional Health is offering $50 sports physicals for students throughout our local community, including:

🌿 Lakewood Local students
🌿 Students from nearby school districts
🌿 Homeschool students
🌿 Students participating in recreational, club, or community sports

📍 In-office sports physicals:
The $50 community rate is available to local students at our office inside Dynamic Wellness Studio in Heath.

🏠 In-home sports physicals:
Students located in Hebron, Buckeye Lake, and select nearby areas may also receive a sports physical in the comfort of their home for the same $50 community rate, subject to availability.

As a local small business, supporting the students and families in our surrounding communities is especially important to me. This discounted rate is one small way Olea Functional Health can help make required sports physicals more convenient and accessible for local families.

Sports physicals include a review of your student’s health history, medications, supplements, previous injuries, heart and lung health, musculoskeletal function, and overall readiness to safely participate in sports.

✨ Meet Tayler Ross, FNP-C ✨

Hi! I’m the founder and provider behind Olea Functional Health.

I’ve spent the last 13 years caring for patients in a variety of healthcare settings, including 10 years as a Registered Nurse and more than 4 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Throughout my career, one thing has remained the same: people want to be heard, understood, and cared for as whole individuals—not just a list of symptoms.

That’s why I started Olea Functional Health.

My goal is to provide personalized, relationship-centered care that takes the time to listen, connect the dots, identify root causes, and create realistic plans that support long-term health and wellness.

I care for patients of all ages and offer adult and pediatric primary care, functional and integrative health services, wellness visits, sports physicals, postpartum and newborn care, and in-home, office, and telehealth appointments.

Beginning July 1st, I’ll also be seeing patients at my office inside Dynamic Wellness Studio in Heath while continuing to offer in-home and telehealth visits throughout Ohio.

I’m excited to officially announce that Olea Functional Health’s physical office location will open July 1st inside Dynamic Wellness Studio in Heath!

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving individuals and families through in-home visits and telehealth. Beginning July 1st, I’ll also be welcoming patients into a dedicated office space while continuing to offer the convenience of mobile and virtual care.
