Healing Trauma Through Spirit Offering healing for trauma associated with abuse through spiritually based practices and therapies since 2006.

Offering speaking, guest appearances, workshops and classes for individuals, groups, or organizations. I am a published author, experienced multi-generational healer & intuitive, speaker, podcaster, seeker, spiritual teacher, Jikiden Reiki® Shihan (teacher), social justice warrior, and a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault. I help folks who suffer from a history of chronic illness, cancer, trauma, and/or abuse to address root issues, transform pain, bridge science, research and the practical magic so that they can experience sustainable healing and wholeness by rediscovering the body's ability to heal itself and the power that lies within so that they can become their own superhero. Why me:
I am passionate about addressing root issues that plague our society and finding sustainable solutions. This also means in order to do this, we must be willing to face and address hard truths. I provide a welcoming inviting safe space to do your what you know how to best. I am passionate about building a community of women who support each other's growth and business especially on the south shore in this geographic location. I am a thought leader in addressing the intersectionality of various women's and Femme issues. I am a best-selling collaborative author of "Feisty: Dangerously Amazing Women Using Their Voices to Make an Impact"

I am active in social justice issues surrounding issues such as domestic violence, restorative justice, sexual trauma, and litigation abuse in custody cases of victims of abuse and more. I have actively lobbied on at least 5 bills in MA that impact survivors of abuse, access to holistic treatments, regulatory bills, and other bills impacting women especially incarcerated women.

Is this a case for double jeopardy after the revelations surfaced regarding the 12th juror? What do you think?

Remember Chief Mathew Clancy? And the THREE videos prior I shared ... Here's more.

My question, why is Chief Clancy suddenly having trouble controlling himself STARTING in 2023 and getting into multiple legal troubles?

It's been troubling me and could some of you amazing sleuths.

I also can't find anything AFTER he resigned in October 2025.

Laura

I want to remind people something as we honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 today.

There are survivors who still suffer greatly from what happened STILL.

Please be mindful of what you share, and how you share it because it could be immensely triggering to them.

Someone very close to me ... is a survivor ... who lost every one of their coworkers that day and is only alive today because their baby was sick, so they went into work late.

I've watched what they still battle because of that day. I won't share more details, because it isn't my story to tell.

Can we remember to be the people of September 12th ... once again, every day????

If you're holding someone in your heart today, feel free to share their name or simply say so in the comments.

No details needed.

Just a witness.

With care,
Laura

A dangerous problem

A dangerous problem

Her protective instinct is not the problem.
The court making it the problem is.
She knows what he did. R**e. Beating. Coercive control. The child was in the house, or in her body, or in the aftermath. Every cell in her tells her not to hand that child over like this is a normal handover at a leisure centre.
That instinct is motherhood doing its job.
Then the court file opens and the instinct is renamed.
She is “anxious.”
She is “enmeshed.”
She is “unable to separate her feelings from the child’s.”
She is “implacably hostile.”
She is an alienator.
His offending shrinks into “historic allegations.” Her refusal to pretend it is safe becomes the live issue. The question stops being what did he do to her and to that child. The question becomes why won’t she promote contact.
That is the reframing.
A ra**st does not need the court to like him. He needs the court to treat her fear as the greater harm. Once that happens, protection looks like obstruction. Caution looks like contamination. Asking for supervision looks like a personality defect.
She is told to be “child-focused,” which in that room means: override what you know, smile, deliver the child, and do not let the truth show on your face. If the child is distressed, that distress is her fault for failing to sell him. If she cannot sell him, they discuss removing the child from her.
So the woman who named the danger becomes the danger. The man who caused it becomes a father with a right. The protective instinct — the one thing that kept that child alive — is entered on the order as the whole problem.
It was never about whether she loved the child enough.
It was about whether she would stop telling the truth long enough for the system to call the arrangement a success.
