This episode of "Triggers and Spiritual Medicine" featured Laura Bonetzky-Gaffney discussing the current collective transition and energy update for mid-year.

Laura Bonetzky-Gaffney addressed feelings of exhaustion, uncertainty, and nervous system fatigue many people are experiencing, describing a sense of being "suspended between old identities and emergence of new self."

She emphasized that the discomfort of transition often feels messy rather than mystical due to attempts to control outcomes and lack of community support systems.

Laura Bonetzky-Gaffney shared insights about the importance of discernment, slowing down, and sitting with uncertainty rather than rushing to find answers.

She outlined key themes for June and July, including endings, elder transitions, and the need for authentic community and genuine connection.

The episode concluded with practical tools for self-care and reflection questions to help listeners navigate the current transitional period.

Real talk. Let's address the elephant in the room to the growing "sickness" in our society, address root issues and provide sustainable solutions. We hope by addressing the intersectionality and connect the dots like a web of many of society’s cha...

The Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled pregnant Sandra Birchmore's death a su***de. But to her family, nothing about it made sense.

She wanted to be a mother. She'd already bought onesies. She was making plans. "That's all she was talking about. I mean, really, really excited," said her cousin, Angelique Pirozzi. "It was a goal of hers. She was glowing."

More than three years later, federal investigators stepped in. And in August 2024, a federal grand jury dropped a bombshell: Allegations that a police officer killed Birchmore to stop her from exposing a sexual relationship that started when she was 15. https://cnn.it/4e5cp1N

As survivors we can feel so ashamed of feeling ashamed, as if it's evidence of our 'wrongness'. Because 'You've got nothing to be ashamed of,' people tell us. But shame is part of an intentional grooming process – a set-up.

I just returned from Niagara Falls for my anniversary with my husband and I felt called to the waters in a different way and mourned over what was absent and it made me appreciate the fight for First Nations even more.

"This water … these falls received every one of us without discrimination. No race. No religion. No hierarchy. None of the things we humans like to attach to one another was witnessed by the water. It was a moment captured between the water and the people who came to stand before it. That is the truth of this place, before the impending spectacle tries to swallow it whole.

Ya know, that other reality exists too. Streets filled with casinos, commercialization, gadgets, flashing lights, toxic food and drink, and all the stuff they want to sell, sell, sell. So, you can buy buy, buy, and consume. This includes the tourists who cycle through for a photo op before moving on, leaving their gluttony of trash behind expecting the falls fairy realms will magically clean up after them. It is, in many ways, a kind of Vegas grafted onto one of the most sacred natural sites on this entire continent.

And what I found most conspicuous in all of it was an absence. The absence ate through me like a flesh-eating bacterium. I sat and wondered who else there noticed it too in all noise and distractions. On both sides of the waters in both countries, the feeling was palatable."

Addressing Root Issues and Reclaiming Ancestral Power

Why must we always speak up against wrongdoing?

Silence can be an effective way to resolve many issues, but when it allows suffering and misery to persist, it becomes inappropriate.

We often teach others how to treat us through our own actions. When someone does wrong to us, hurts us, or mistreats us, doing nothing often leads others to take us for granted, which only reinforces their behavior.

Take a stand and speak up for yourself. It doesn't mean arguing, disputing, or clashing with the other person, but rather firmly communicating that inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
