IMPORTANT NCLEX FEE UPDATE FOR FUTURE USRN CANDIDATES

Planning to become a USRN?

Here’s an important update you need to know.

The NCSBN has announced that the NCLEX registration fee will increase effective February 1, 2027:
United States: $350
Australia: $350
Canada: $570 CAD

This is the first NCLEX registration fee adjustment since 2000, reflecting changes in inflation, technology, examination security, data protection, and cybersecurity.

💡 But here’s the important part:

Candidates who complete their NCLEX registration before February 1, 2027 will still pay the current registration fee.
Candidates registering on or after February 1, 2027 will pay the new fee.

👉 Your exam date does NOT determine the fee — your registration date does.
And yes, this applies to NCLEX retakes as well.
