🩸 Lab Draws Are Now Available at The Weekend Clinic

We're excited to offer lab draws right here at the clinic, making it easier for our patients to get the testing they need.

We also want to be completely transparent so there are no surprises:

✅ Your visit is free
✅ Your care is free
✅ The blood draw is free

LabCorp processes the specimens and will send you a bill directly for the laboratory testing. For many common bloodwork panels, the cost is approximately $15, though the exact amount depends on the tests ordered.

We don't receive any of that money, and we don't want anyone to feel caught off guard when a bill arrives. Our goal is to provide free healthcare while being upfront about any costs that may come from outside organizations.

💙 Please help us welcome Missy Frazee, PMHNP, to The Weekend Clinic! 💙

We are excited to announce that Missy Frazee, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, will be joining our team and will begin seeing patients at The Weekend Clinic on Saturday, June 28th.

Missy will provide specialized mental health services for patients dealing with concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health needs. While we have always incorporated mental health care into our Sunday clinic visits, Missy's expertise allows us to offer a higher level of focused mental health support for those who need it.

Appointments are now available for June 28th. If you've been thinking about seeking help for a mental health concern, this may be a great opportunity to get connected with care in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

We will also continue to have providers available that day to address routine medical concerns.

The community is truly amazing.

Studio Dara is hosting a FREE Intro to Yoga session to help promote health and wellness within our community, so obviously we had to get in on it. 🧘

This beginner-friendly class is open to all experience levels, and mats/supports will be provided.

Thanks to grant funding, we were finally able to bring in equipment that helps us provide even better care for the community.

The Weekend Clinic will be CLOSED this Sunday, May 10th due to provider availability.

As most of you know, we are a volunteer-run clinic. Every single Sunday depends on licensed medical providers donating their personal time to care for our community. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to secure provider coverage for this weekend.

That said, this is also a reminder of just how much this clinic relies on people willing to step up and serve.

We are actively looking for physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners who would be interested in volunteering with us.

If you don't have your Ohio license, we may be able to help in paying for the reciprocity costs.

Our ask is simple:
• One 5-hour clinic shift
• About once every other month
• Roughly 6 Sundays per year

That small amount of time makes a massive difference for patients in our area.

You do not have to commit every weekend. You do not have to carry the entire load. Even occasional help allows us to keep the doors open consistently for the community.

Quick note to the community:

You see The Weekend Clinic open for five hours on the weekend.

But we don’t just show up. This is intentional.

Every single clinic day takes planning, getting volunteers lined up, making sure we have what we need, doing the mountain of paperwork, and trying to make things run as smooth as possible.

This week we were at the Ohio Charitable Health Network Conference representing the clinic and connecting with other organizations doing the same kind of work.

We’re always trying to get better, find ways to lower our costs, run things more efficiently, and bring more value back to this community. It's well known that the care we provide is free, but it should also be known that we do not compromise in the quality of care.

Everything we do, behind the scenes and on Sundays, is for the community. Even if I have to wear a blazer over my t-shirt for "dress code".

We appreciate the support more than you know.

• Cause mild chaos

By age 1, The Weekend Clinic has:
• Served 400+ patients
• Provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in free care
• Built something this community can rely on

We’ve always heard “it takes a village.”
We just didn’t realize how true that was until this past year.

The entire tri-state has shown up, through support, donations, volunteering, and simply spreading the word. We had no idea how many people would respond, but it’s clear… there’s a real need, and this community is stepping up to meet it.

This is a thank you.
To everyone who has helped, supported, or trusted us with their care - this doesn’t exist without you.

The clinic is growing up fast.

We don’t have on-site testing for tick-borne illnesses, but we can evaluate bites and treat when appropriate. Especially if you’ve had a recent high-risk bite or symptoms after exposure.

If something feels off, don’t ignore it.
