We are honored to have been selected for the fourth consecutive time to continue supporting kidney transplantation in France.

Through the national tender process, our LifePort technology has been chosen for both hypothermic machine perfusion and oxygenated hypothermic machine perfusion, reinforcing our commitment to supporting transplant programs across the country.

Since the first kidney was machine-perfused in France with LifePort Kidney Transporter in 2006 and the launch of the national protocol in 2014, France has been at the forefront of kidney perfusion, achieving outstanding clinical outcomes and providing more patients with the opportunity to receive a transplant and improve their quality of life.

We are proud to continue this journey alongside UniHA, the Agence de la Biomédecine, and the hospital teams involved in organ procurement across mainland France and its overseas territories, helping to honor the gift of donation and transform more lives through transplantation.

Supporting the transplant community goes beyond the technology we provide.

Yesterday, members of our LifePort Preservation team, including Alex, Che-heive, Steve and Mike, joined Senior Manager, Clinical and Technical Advisors Anthony in volunteering at Gift of Life Howie’s House in Philadelphia, where they prepared and served dinner for transplant patients and their families.

Participating in Howie’s House Home Cook Heroes Program is a meaningful opportunity for our team to connect with the people at the heart of our mission.

We are grateful to Howie’s House for all they do to provide comfort, community, and a home away from home for transplant patients and their families.

🌎 It's World Organ Donation Day! Today, we celebrate the gift of life through organ donation and honor the donors, their families, and the patients whose lives have been transformed through transplantation.

The need for donation remains urgent. In the U.S. alone, more than 100,000 people are waiting for a lifesaving transplant and a new person added to the waitlist every 8 minutes.

Learn more about donor registration in your region by contacting your country's national organ donation authority.

Each donor’s gift deserves the opportunity to fulfill its life-saving potential.

Recently, a medically complex donor kidney was transported on LifePort Kidney Transporter from LifeGift in Houston, Texas, to Hospital Auxilio Mutuo in Puerto Rico in a commercial aircraft cabin – a journey spanning more than 2000 miles. The kidney had presented atherosclerotic plaque, which can make cannulation particularly challenging. The recovery team selected LifePort Kidney Transporter for its ease of cannulation and clinical reliability, to ensure the donor’s gift would be safely preserved.

The result? The kidney’s journey was seamless from takeoff to touchdown, and a patient received a second chance at life.

By giving transplant teams the confidence to preserve and transport medically complex kidneys over long distances, LifePort Kidney Transporter helps expand opportunities for transplantation.

My connection to donation and transplantation began with my uncle’s heart transplant in 2002. Since 2011, I’ve served the field through roles in organ procurement, transplant nursing, service line leadership, and industry support for diagnostics and immunosuppressive therapies.

After using LifePort Kidney Transporter throughout my clinical career, I believed in the company’s mission, its people, and the impact behind their technology. I decided to join ORS in November 2025 as a Strategic Account Manager, which felt like coming home to the preservation side of transplantation. In this role, I partner with OPOs and transplant centers to support organ preservation, education, and solutions that help teams care for the precious gifts entrusted to them.

Working in donation and transplantation changes you. I’ve stood beside donor families during unimaginable grief and cared for recipients as they moved from uncertainty toward a second chance at life. Being part of both journeys has been one of the greatest honors of my career.

Outside of work, I love spending my time with my spouse, my son Henry, and our pug, Mary Jane. This fall, I’ll be cheering Henry on from the sidelines during his senior football season. I also enjoy singing in my church choir, cooking, traveling, and tackling home projects. 💜

Every donor kidney preserved brings a patient one step closer to a second chance at life.

Yesterday, we were honored to present the Lifesaving Legacy Award to New England Donor Services (NEDS) in recognition of preserving more than 8,000 donor kidneys using LifePort Kidney Transporter.

This milestone reflects thousands of donor families whose generosity made transplantation possible, and the unwavering dedication of organ procurement professionals working to expand opportunities for transplantation.

Congratulations to the NEDS team! Thank you for your continued partnership and your commitment to honoring every donor’s gift. 💝
