Our Johnson City Community Health Center, located at 2151 Century Lane, is hosting its annual health fair on Saturday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will be offering free health screenings, flu shots, personal care items, community resources and activities for the whole family.

ETSU Health urges caution due to MyChart scammers: National reports indicate that scammers are using MyChart lookalike branding, websites, emails and texts to try to trick individuals into providing private information. Many of these reports are linked to free offers.

Never provide your MyChart login via email, text or over the phone. Carefully review the URL of any website you visit and make sure you are using the official MyChart channels.

If you receive a message and are in doubt that it is from your ETSU Health provider, please contact your ETSU Health clinic to verify.

Our thoughts are with the entire Milligan University community following yesterday’s tragic events. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, faculty, staff, teammates and coaches impacted by this loss.

When multiple injured cyclists arrived at Johnson City Medical Center, our trauma team quickly came together to provide the specialized care they needed.

Dr. Bracken Burns, ETSU Health physician, professor of surgery at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine and trauma medical director at JCMC, shared how the hospital’s teams worked together to care for the injured patients, including those who required surgery and intensive care.

“Our goal is to take the best care of these kids, the same that I would for my own children,” Burns said.

We are grateful for the dedication, expertise and compassion of our physicians and entire care team who stepped up when our community needed them most.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol, District Attorney General, Carter County Sheriff's Office and Milligan University leadership spoke at a press conference after two members of Milligan's cycling team were killed in a crash that sent several others to the hospital.
